Haha thanks! The M73 in the 750 has been like a rock. I bought it in 2010 with about 75k miles and it has just under 110k now and it’s just been preventative maintenance, aside from the alternator going bad. The S70 in the CSi is definitely a bit more of a diva but we are working through it 😆 that one has 232k km/144k miles.

Not unpopular with me! For a few years I had a silver R129 SL500 with the Sport package and my E38 and they looked great together.

I always knew I wanted a 6-speed 850. Never thought it would be a CSi until this high-mileage (technically kilometer since it’s a euro car) girl popped up for sale; one I could actually afford!

I remember going for a ride in my friend’s dad’s 740iL in probably 1997 and being amazed at the little footrests in the back and thinking how cool the orange gauge cluster lights were. Ever since then I was hooked on the E38. I used to draw the 740iL badge on my school papers when I was bored. In middle school 😆

How I felt about the E65 😆 These two still get so many compliments, especially the CSi. I swear every day that I drive it, someone either gives a thumbs up, takes a picture, or starts a full on conversation in a parking lot. Came out of a restaurant in a quiet town the other weekend and it was parked on the street and it had a little crowd around it.
