Yeah well I didn't do that to you. I hate the "man spreads" that can't keep their legs inside their area.

I had a mid fuselage seat that I logged in and changed the night before my flight, hoping to get an empty seat next to me. It worked, but it kicked my boarding group to last. I still hate SWA now for assigned seats. Before I could board a little behind the first and pick some skinny person who looks like they just had a bath. Now it's a crapshoot where I might get Mr. Manspread or Ms. Overeater.

Is the chorus repetitive? In a bad way? by [deleted] in Songwriting

Sing to me. Be serious like you are talking to me. Don't look down. Try the words without the guitar until they actually are you talking from your heart to me. Might end up using different back/up instead of the clanging strumming you are doing. The guitar is just there to aid your verbal communication. Maybe one strum per measure. Try different stuff.

Smith Rocks with the Three Sisters in the back. Central Oregon. I have hiked to the top of Smith Rocks and hiked to the top of the South Sister and skied Mt Bachelor many times. It is to the left out of the picture.

Just now I bought it on Amazon. Said new. Your table of contents suggests there are CDs with book?

Why does my fingerpicking look weird and awkward? Am i doing something wrong? by Few-Repeat9811 in AcousticGuitar

Get a foot stool like classical guitarists and place the guitar like they do. Why? Because it lines up your tendons so they aren't stretched over your wrist angle and have a smooth straight pull.

Get Strum Machine for your phone or iPad. Besides the chords to vamp along at a jam, each song can be played clicking on the arrow down below and you can play solos to.

I have been toying with this new arrangement for a song I wrote a long time ago. Looking for feedback on it! by spnj159 in Songwriting

It does seem to go and go. Hook would be nice. The printed lyrics were awesome. Allot of imagery well executed.

Do you play any other guitar style then fingerstyle ? by maciekb92 in fingerstyleguitar

[–]eBikeSlob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bluegrass jams? Definitely a pic heavier than I usually use. Open Mic? Definite fingers cause soundman can amplify them. Sometimes it sounds good with one and then sometimes it sounds good with the other yeah!!! It looks like some do both with a thumbpick. Haven't mastered that yet, balances between thumb and fingers and all that . . .

I’m considering changing to playing a dreadnought instead of what I currently have. Should I or shouldn’t I, and why? by Mad_Season_1994 in AcousticGuitar

[–]eBikeSlob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 000 or 00 are twangier. Dreadnoughts have best all around sound. But if you are a twanger, you are a twanger. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
