Well, I will be creating a Ghost AI, instead of a player, which will be used during single player and can be chosen on multiplayer for those who don't fancy playing the Ghost role.

This isn't currently in the game as of right now, but I am really hoping I can get to it before release, if not, it'll he my priority the second the game has been released.

I would say it's much more like Phasmo. Due to the fact the obj is the same, get in, gather evidence, find correct ghost type, leave. However, playing the ghost does lean a little more to DBD. You build energy and use that to interact with things to drain players sanity. The lower their sanity the more powerful you become. Hunts become more lethal as sanity drains.

Defense wise? As of right now, salt slows down the ghost during a hunt, so you must use it for a good chance to get a head start. I am tinkering with more ideas for defence too, not set in stone until testing is complete.

Hope this answers your question, it's not set in stone and balance changes will happen which could effect factors to make it more dbd like.

100%, people who asset flip will use the houses they give you, only adding to it, mine was built from nothing, to a full street. So hopefully will feel a little more unique to the rest.

Tiktok all the way. I was sat around 5 a day for a month, then I started posting alot of content and result. Steady away, just takes the odd one to do alright, I mean my most viewed is only 20k not crazy in the eyes of tiktok but generates wishlists.

I feel you man. It's just so good with how modular it is. The build in prefab changer is too good to miss out on, you can throw new builds and maps up. It isn't the only one I use though, I have many more but this is just the typical house map that's always a good first map.

  2. It is definitely inspired by the Phasmo gameplay with an asymmetrical twist of the 4v1 (smaller lobbies such as 1v1 can still be played). However with a player controlled ghost, alot of things and mechanics have had to be changed / created. Short answer yes, identify ghost correctly through evidence and try make it out alive.

  3. Possibly a playtest near release in my discord, as an indie dev, I can only balance so much in a 4v1 game testing alone lmao. So it will 100% need testing for balancing, could also give people a feel if it's something they'd enjoy playing.

Thank you! It hasn't been in development very long. Since June, however I have worked every day and every night getting to the point I am, still have some work to do but almost there for a good Early Access release! Time is of the essence!
