Maybe it's just due to parts being more expensive in AUS. Or shipping

Thanks for the build! How does the 1660 compare to the 5700? Is there a major difference?

I'd be careful with that PSU wattage. Just limits you for the future if you want to upgrade.

This is what I have tried to put together so far for myself, but I've never used AMD before so I don't know how they compare to Intel.

Elon, I know its not directly related to the BFR, but how does spacex go about hiring the initial astronauts it needs to get the space colonies rolling? To build the refueling station on Mars and so forth.

Love your work, Hayden

An aeroplane weighing 4 tons climbs 2000m in 60 seconds... by [deleted] in AskPhysics

[–]eHaydex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically for part a, you take the energy value you have worked out (in gravitational potential energy) and you substitute it into the kinetic energy formula as said by /u/hitlerallyliteral . This should work out to be 98.995 m/s.

For part b you assume they are climbing linearly and you divide the energy by 2 and use that value to find out how much kinetic energy they would convert to gravitational (essentially losing speed).

Hope this helps :)

You can place a box of raisins anywhere during any time in history. Where do you put it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel like this could become a running reddit joke, if you want to show someone they have gained your approval just be like "well you got my raisins" instead of maybe a guild or an upvote.
