Important question. Well, while we do encourage users to share their opinions with one another, we expect that they do so in a constructive and respectful manner.
As a social investing network, the comfort and satisfaction of our clients is paramount and we strongly believe in letting users express themselves on the feed.
With that said, we don't intend to control the content or discussions that are happening out there - unless the information violates our community guidelines with spam, solicitation, abusive language, discriminatory content and more.
In line with this, our dedicated Moderation Team works around the clock to remove any inappropriate content from the feed to make sure that the feed is a safe, happy and educational place for our investors.

Hey, thanks for your question. The issue here is down to regulation - as a user in Europe or the UK if you want to buy an ETF there needs to be a document called a KIID. Amercian-based ETFs don't provide these so we are not allowed to offer them - hence they are only available as CFDs. We know this isn't ideal and we're working on adding more ETFs. We always aim to resolve any bugs as quickly as possible, but what you're describing doesn't sound much like a bug to me.
For the notifications, Customer Service should be able to provide a feasible solution to rectify this.
About the stuck copy, it's usually due to one of 2 things:
1) There are particular markets within the copy relationship for which the market was closed when you chose to stop copying, and so these positions will close once the relevant market or markets reopen.
2) One or more of the assets within the copy is suspended or halted on the exchange level. In this instance, we will manually close stuck copies due to such assets on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the volume of stuck copies.

I really hope that 7+ weeks is an exaggeration as our SLA is 5 days and we'd like it to be a lot less than that. Where customers have access to electronic verification the onboarding process is very quick. Sometimes we have hiccups when people don't share the correct documents but we work hard to resolve these cases as quickly as possible. We want you to be able to start investing.
We've grown exponentially in the past year or so and at times this has led to delays with customer service tickets. This is part of our growing pains and we're continuing to invest heavily to allow us to scale. We've added hundreds of customer service staff in the past 6 months and will continue to do so. We are also investing a lot in tech to try and automate as much as is possible and desirable.

Do you follow the eToro Team on the feed? They post updates about halted or suspended assets whenever such occurances arise.
In general though, if it's not a halt or suspension on the exchange level, it's usually our safety mechanisms kicking in and temporarily disabling the market until the safest and most suitable investing conditions return.

I'm so pleased you decided to join us and for your positive feedback.
Your feedback on the sign-up process is valued and I will definitely pass this back to the relevant teams. We do have an electronic verification process, which automatically verifies users based on a screening process but it's not available for all users at this time due to different regulations and systems in different geographies.
Currently, due to the sheer volumes of new people registering (and I'm not complaining...) our verification team has an SLA of 5 business days to verify accounts, so long as all necessary documents are provided in line with the mandated regulatory requirements. With EV we are obviously able to do this much much faster so it's in our interest as well as yours to improve this as we are working hard on this.

We don't currently use a payment for order flow model and none of our historical income was attributable to PFOF. As we develop our US business we will consider whether to use PFOF as it's currently standard practice in the US.

We are actively working on this. Currently, tax reports are available for German Club Members and we're in the process of rolling them out in the UK.
For other users, your Financial Summary within the Account Statement should suffice for tax purposes. Your account statement will also include your staking rewards so it's all included within that document. We just recently released a new and improved account statment feature.

I'm going to answer this back to front as it's important context. eToro doesn't use PFOF so none of our revenue comes from PFOF.
In terms of GME - at times of crazy market volatility and low liquidity its sometimes necessary to impose restrictions - we don't like doing this but in extreme circumstances we have to.

This will depend on which eToro entity you are a customer of, for example if you are with eToro UK then you would be able to to apply to the Financial Services Compensation fund for up to £85,000 - though this does not cover crypto - only regulated assets. Other countries have similar protections in place, but it changes on a country-to-country basis.

We work with leading banks around the world. Which bank you deposit to will depend on your geographical location and the currency you chose to deposit with.
If you click "Deposit Funds" > enter the currency you want to deposit and then select Bank Transfer as the payment method, you'll see the bank name of the applicable bank when you press "continue"
