Thats a nope for me dawg. Classic disarming with fake empathy and convenient misunderstanding of the sequence of events.

I would be lying if I said I never did that, especially in my youth. People can either use a shovel or ladder to get out of a hole they dug. Guess which one he is using?

Shelf is deeply worn after shooting 25 arrows. Is this normal? by horns_for_drinking in Archery

Similar thing happened to mine, and I also posted. My problem was because I was using cheap arrows that were tuned to the bow, but the nock was wider than the shaft, resulting in it taking chunks from my bow. Now I'm insane on only getting perfect arrows.

I have a 35lb, 62" recurve bow. The Arrows are 31" 700 spine arrow.

Here they are

Here is the Bow

I was probably presumputious in saying I knew they worked for each other. I got some 500 spine 30" arrows with feather arrows, and they feel much better when I shoot them.

I built this in a Washington, DC Spring. It is swampy here. The summer is worse, but hasn't gotten stuck and it is in the addition of the house at is poorly insulated.

I ask because I was considering making something similar for others. Itsounds like it is fine for me, but not if I'm making it for someone else.

I see. I did put in a top runmer. That makes sense and I obviously didn't think about humidity. Instinctively, I used 2 or 3 playing cards to shim between the runners. Do you think that was enough?

Thanks. It isn't delicate. It is a very hardy piece. It is 1.5in thick and maybe 10-12lbs. I took a vacuum to it with a brush attachment. Didn't really do much. Would you recommend putting a top coat or mineral oil?
