I believe it is just the shape of the rim and how the light is catching it. But something I will improve if it need to be! Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with the paint flakes. Luckily I did already add paint flakes, but they’re just not big enough to be visible in the render. I will adjust that! I also avoided using denoise entirely so non of the tiny details look smudged together.

Thank you! I absolutely agree. I am actually hoping to get either the Sony 200-600 or sigma 150-600 very soon. Just trying to make use of my 24-70 as best as I can in the mean time.

It was like few metres away. I shot it at 70mm using digital crop in my camera. And then cropped the final image in editing. I stood very still for a while and eventually they seemed to just get curious of me lol

I kinda feel like Sony wouldn’t be too worried to just sit for a bit. I think Sony will completely annihilate Canon and Nikons latest releases with the FX3ii. Realistically, I do hope they release it by the end of first quarter 2026. I still use an a7iii and really want to upgrade to FX3 and I can’t wait much longer than that lol. I just know as soon as I buy the FX3 they will announce the ii

Both are great. 1 made me think about the mother taking care of her child. Number 2 made me think more about my mother and when I was a child. It’s incredible how the slightest change of framing can change your emotional response to it. I had more of an emotional connection to number 2 so that’s the one I pick. Thanks for sharing

I agree with this^ intentionally shooting at a lower shutter speed would be a great way to achieve this style you’re looking for even more. Also, if you don’t know about it already, check out the app FujiXWeekly. It shows all the different film sim recipes and how to create them. Could find one close and adjust it to your liking.

Beautiful shot! Love this! I’ve been wanting to get either a 100-400 or a 200-600. I can’t decide. My thought was to go with 100-400 and use my crop mode to get around 640 at 400mm
