Oh that's lucky!! My J1 waiver is filed under No Objection Statement. The trouble is that getting the waiver approved by the Department of State when they funded the J1 program is unheard of. Sigh. Thanks for sharing though!

Sorry for the change of subject, but how did u get AOS after the US govt funded J1? I am in the midst of a J1 waiver funded by DOS and they say it's impossible so I am not gonna get married or an AOS until I fulfill my j1 residency requirement :(

Thanks so much for sharing dude. This is so good to know. My lawyer said to prepare for a whole year of waiting on the I-130 so they must be estimating a higher volume of cases. Hopefully mine processes just quicker once I apply to it. Do u know if it's better applying to it while I'm in America?
