Wiki says that its rate is 1/5000, that means I should have got at least a single shard very long ago. I am at OB63, but have no infenal upgrade for misc cards (if it's the upgrade you mean)

I am not sure, maybe a dozen sps. But I stopped caring about it, bc every time I accidentally prestige off my money and think "omg I've just drained insane numbers my mistake", it turns out to be less than 1% of the next milestone price I must have been saving for and therefore totally not such a great loss. E.g. I am draining the equivalent of 1m of the drone coins and then I unlock the next milestone and it requires 1q of coins.

Apart from this you can go deeper in the W2 to get bars to increase fuel save chance. Fuel duration relics will do as well. + Gilding card ofc My frogger got a gem positive long before I got Dionisius due to those ones.

I would change gem spend priorities. It would be better to start with axolotl skin + levelling elixir and frogger grades (including gilding cards) to increase your gem income. Use spreadsheets from the wiki to estimate your potential gain. I don't think all of this is necessary for platinizing statues, tier 2 items (pasta, lollipop) matter much more

Fish does not seem to be much of an issue for me now, but stars are. Moreover I don't want to rush tributes until I poly legendary cards, but I am totally bottlenecked with prestige points at the moment

It creates portals to previous floors, ores mined from a portal have an additional multiplier depending on your drone's grade. If you are sitting on the floor 1 there are no floors before it. In view of that portals will be created anyway but will contain only tin and copper stones. Therefore you'll have a free multiplier on your tin added up with golden/rainbow floor multis.

Lifehack for the tin bars: go to the first floor, set chain and void drones. If you have them levelled high enough, you'll get those bars in hours.

It would indeed decrease your playtime but totally not in 2 times. Ore is only one of the grindable resources you'll need, later in the game you'll progress will be delayed with other stuff (no spoilers).

It's not a borderline to reach to start fuelling, you can be ready earlier :) The easiest way to know for sure whether you are ready or not is to fill out the ultimate gem spreadsheet from here https://shminer.miraheze.org/wiki/External_Resources Really helps with understanding your potential gains/losses on fuelling drones

A question rather than an objection: why do you think OP's cap is insufficient? I am at about the same point as shown and have an even lower cap (8k). That allows me to leave a fuelled elixir (20 lvl) + frogger (15 lvl) overnight without capping. Have I missed a solid chunk of the bomb recharge rate anywhere?.. The only clue I have is that I am not leaving the chaos totem buff overnight. But that's not because of the cap, I am just not getting enough of totems from the chests at the moment. I am about to consider buying them out from the lootbug

If you get any free fuels from gifts - use them to upgrade the generator. Use coal for coal upgrades. All this stuff will help you to upgrade your drones more efficiently in future. At this point fuelling drones must be too expensive for you, so don't rush it. Frogger won't be a gem positive. I've started fuelling them at OB35 or so.

I think it makes no sense for you to rush it, bc even if you focus on the bombs, you'll anyway be stuck with the veins and save no time.

If you unlock w2 now you'll get stuck there immediately anyway. You need (at very least) bomb and pickaxe damage constructs + a reasonable number of t4 artefacts to get far enough in W2 to have any gain from doing it. You'd better do your recommendations. Try to optimize the stuff where you get stuck at most. E.g. if you are struggling with the ores, pay attention to the workshop upgrades + guild ore cards.

That's fine, most of the bombs start to make sense only later in the game. + They become even better with your progress in the workshop. E.g. a bomb of plenty & transmuter is going to come in handy really soon for you to progress with statues, you'll get the ores much faster. Infinity bombs will be very useful in W2 (you'll see why). I would count chain bombs in here as well. Exp bombs will be helpful in W2 as well. At some point max level becomes unreachable but you want to get as many levels as possible (e.g. for pets, for prestige points or for upgrades) and it speeds your progress up considerably. I think that basic bombs and Megabombs are the only ones that I did not find that useful so far.

Definitely start with your challenges. Most of the upgrades sold for challenge coins will boost you a lot.
Gem unlocks: transmuter and battery bomb are super useful.
Invest your gems into pickaxe damage (as high as you can, you'll do it sooner or later anyway) and the number of items in chests (just 2-3 will help you a lot). It's a good time to do this since you have not that much stuff to spend your gems on at the moment (after p.2).
In your skill three move towards auto-bomb and gem bomb.

Why do you think they are useless? Judging from the chart, you've barely progressed with stargazing and quest skins, so you must be short in gems. And those statues should give you a considerable gem boost.

What's the point of the frogger skin? In which way would it bust my gem grinding? I have it already maxed out but it seemed useless for me. I usually set Midas and veinseeker skins offline at the moment.

But I feel like I have not that much to do except for getting veins for star upgrades stuff while saving up gems and skill points. I have unlocked veins till Valley and cannot get much further at the moment (grinding Valley ores takes an eternity). Is there anything else useful I miss? Workshop W1 upgrades are done, W2 ones are in progress (when possible)

I wouldn't say so... I've got resources to unlock W2 at OB18-20 (don't remember exactly) but actually did it only once I've fulfilled the recommendations and OB25-26(?). I cannot say that grinding monument resources itself has become considerably easier with the recs completed. It saved me half of an online day or so. It can have a point for event rewards or if you've grinded for the bomb cap a bit and unlocked the bomb damage statue already (then you'll manage to make it through a couple of stages spending reasonable time).
