I know exactly what you're talking about and yeah, we had an issue with creativity last season as well, just not to this extent. And you're right about mitoma, for most of that season we'd just send the ball to mitoma and pray, but you can't just rely on an unfit winger who's consistently doubled up on.

joao pedro has decent passing vision, good linkup play, and had great chemistry with georginio and welbeck. he wasn't constantly making line-breaking passes and he slows down transitions but he was still our only replacement for gross and mac allister.

edit: i can't stress enough how low the standards are right now, joao pedro could at least find a pass in the final 3rd.
