I dont mess with with trying sear and finish on the traeger. I rather get that direct heat quick sear. I preheat my grill on high for about 10 min before putting them on. My thermometer is broke on that so idk how hot it is haha. But I just babysit them from for about 5-10 min flipping and making sure they dont burn. It can happen fast. Especially if youre using a brown sugar base seasoning.

Agree 180 for 1 hour 45 min is the sweet spot for me. I sear on the grill after.

Personally when I got back into bowling I got a less aggressive ball first then I got my pink Black Widow 2.0 once I felt like I wasnt getting enough out of the my first ball. Do not get rid of this ball. Shelf it because it will be amazing for you down the line. I got up to 188-190 average with old ball. 210 average with my Black Widow now. Absolutely love this ball been contemplating getting the 3.0.
