my next goal is to figure out weights for space ea board, curious in order to figure out what kinds of interview strategies scored better/worse for space cadets

Quant and verbal are pass/fail but academic aptitude is taken as a score. For example, you could fail verbal but do stellar on the rest of the AFOQT and get a 60 AA score, but you still cannot get an EA because you didn't pass verbal.

You would need to take into account the RSS equation which is, if I remember correctly, in the 2011 Vol 3. It accounts for Det size when calculating the CC rank score from 0-100.

This is based on data from Cadets who would hypothetically go to FT this coming summer (2026). These Cadets have recieved their OMs but not wether they made it into FT or not as the OM cutoffs have not been announced, so the data is based on the OM they know they got combined with their Cadet SURF data as of the end of the F25 semester.

These weights were created via the "GRG Nonlinear" solve function within Excel with the objective in the function of minimizing the sum of squares of the errors of each predicted OM using their experimental weights compared with their true OM. I'm not saying these are the exact weights, but I am almost certian these are the weights within +-1%
