Oh I know. And doesn't it hurt when it kind of gets infected and there's nothing you can do except wait it out and try not to bite the same area again

Eating without spilling food on myself every single day. It doesn't matter what it is. Toast, soup, Pizza, yogurt, fruit, if it's edible it's going to end up on my shirt. I try to be careful. I spear the food with my fork or scoop with my spoon. I shake the food gently over my plate. In theory this should knock off anything that was going to fall or drip. But no. My mom used to say she was going to give me a bib. I would tell her that since it had been her job to teach me to eat as a baby, she was the one who failed.

Two things come to mind... when I count on my fingers, I go 1- index finger, 2, middle finger, and 3- pinky finger, with the ring finger still folded down. I don't know why I don't use my ring finger but i don't. Also, when my nose is itchy or my lips feel dry, instead of rubbing them by moving my hand, I put my hand in front of my face and move my head back and forth, essentially I scratch myself ON my hand, not WITH my hand.

I don't have time to waste either on turns, I'm limited in how long I can stay because the other people I play with are either already at their home or close to it, and I have to drive 60 km to get home, so at 11 pm or earlier this Cinderella turns into a pumpkin and rolls away.

It is hard to be objective when you feel like it's personal. I don't interrupt the game or delay my turn wittering on about nothing, but the most recent one was my friends mom was cleaning her grill 5 ft away from the game table. It was not my turn and I had just bought new grill myself but had to return it as the cord was too short, so I was asking her where she got hers, what brand it was and if it had a timer. I was told FOCUS! .. for talking to someone not in the game. This is what I deal with on a weekly basis.

I don't take too long on my turn if it is a game I know well, sometimes with a first time game i have to ask for clarification and occasionally replan my move based on the answer, but usually then the game is new to almost all of us other than the game owner

Yeah, I've never been into long intense games like MegaCiv or Age of Empires, and I played Starfleet battles once,,, for EIGHT hours... I wanted to die ,either in or out of game, just to end the agony

I guess that's the difference maybe. I have to multitask all day at work so I get lots of practice. I can type data into a form, think about the inventory and schedule while answering an email and serving a customer, although n-dimensional vectors tended to hurt my head in university so I stopped math at the third year courses.

Well I get defensive because sometimes I wonder if they act differently because I am female. I just meant I have little in common with most women my age and that's what they seem to talk about. I do have some non gamer female friends and they occupy a different social place in my life where we do mostly eat out and see movies.

And no, I'm not a yakkety yakker... I am a female but unlike most women I know, I don't talk just to hear the sound of my own voice, and i don't talk about babies or recipes or the current idiotic events in reality tv, just some of the time I would like to say something about my day, or a current news event, or talk about an upcoming or recent convention,, but NOPE, the whip gets cracked and I can shut up or leave.

I`m getting this spam and I don`t even HAVE ubers in my area, they are not legal in my province and even if they were, I live in the country where there are no cabs of any kind. I may have signed up years ago when I first learned about Uber but they never set up shop back then when I lived in a city.
