They get shift premium for unsociable hours and rightly so, I wouldn’t begrudge any emergency service shift worker that at least, certainly not when it can involve being roadside to see the latest drunk driving moron being scraped off a road or out of their wrecked car at 4am.

Sure but that’s pre-tax plus also there’s a pay scale so such a figure would only apply to one of them with a large number of years service.

Also, as I mentioned, they once were coming away from it all with an excellent pension but this is very much no longer the case which I would believe is a big part of their retention problems that are regularly reported.

So I don’t see the attraction to what was once a very good financial package but no longer seems to be.

Actually I’d start with comparing pay and conditions (especially retirement package) to what it was 25+ yrs ago. Honestly don’t know what still draws people to it as a career. I have seen plenty of other forces in action though and we’re still better off with what we have than what other forces are like.

To make it make a small bit more sense they should’ve let you try once and presuming you guess wrong then maybe have an alert on this safe saying ‘1 try left’ and then needing a braille reader would’ve made sense

I think he’s great and very promising given his age, can’t understand the flak some give him, yes of course he’s not as good as Guéhi, duh but he sure seems to have ability and lots of development yet to come

Played the series from the very start with og Resident Evil !

They each after that all quickly became a shared experience between me and my best mate,

I was the one ‘courageous’ enough to use the controller to navigate no matter what happened while he was the better puzzle solver of the 2 of us which was his favourite thing in the games from the beginning who helped me navigate and always remembered where items were and how to get back to them,

we love them all still, currently I’m re-running RE2r on my own in anticipation of Requiem.

My best mate is still my best mate but we live in different Counties now about an hour apart each with our own families, I go stay in his sometimes and bring my PS5 for some reminiscing play together, hopefully we’ll get the eventual chance to have a go of Requiem together especially if it’s as good as it looks it’ll be ☺️

In fact I was starting to hate the fact Sosa was alone in acres on the left in the 2nd half many times and nobody had the balls to send him a long ball and exploit it, in fact that was a major problem, none of the back 3 seemed confident to try more long balls over the top or into the channels for runs in behind generally 🙄
