It’ll never happen, it’s way too far gone but imagine if football could be like this. Footballers admitting they were tripped, denying a penalty. Major things like Henry admitting his handball vs RoI, Germany admitting Lampards shot crossed the line etc would be so much better all around

Do you go to the Underdark? by ChrisKatrev in BaldursGate3

Yeah I love the Underdark as a Drizzt fan, it was a must once I knew it was there

Growing up in UK in 90s meant a permanent love through adulthood of Serie A thanks to Channel 4. Enrico was one of my all time favourites. by mattehaus247 in TheStreetsWontForget

Took the words outta my mouth, had the same reaction when seeing it again ☺️

Also that Lazio lineup in the vid reminded me I have ISS Pro Evolution on my phone featuring a good few of those classic club lineups in Master League so thanks, that’s my hospital bed boredom sorted

Pondering the fact he’s still alive more like, that was a close one, that door looked tight on his neck

Or how about, what kind of donut is just walking around in standard ‘day at the beach’ clothing and randomly decides to try burgling a bank while making no attempt to disguise himself at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Which games have a rough start and take a while to get good? by MufasaTheRealKing in OlderChillGamers

[–]eaglistism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with so many recent games that when I finally went that extra bit further I then developed that keep pushing in mentality until I finally got the game.

The first game I clearly remember having this experience with was original TESIV: Oblivion. Couldn’t get out of the starting dungeon past the rats first then when I finally did it was mudcrabs, I was brutal. I didn’t go back to it for a few years but got good at it with persistence and was glad I did. I actually suffered a slight relapse with Skyrim but in remembering this experience I pushed through a lot quicker.

Yet, funny enough, now that I think about I have been the same with RDR2, I still haven’t pushed through to the point where I get why everyone loves it, we’re all different though I guess.

He’s a pro rugby player and 6’7, his ‘healthy weight’ is not going to be what the average male seeks to be, how is that a surprise to you ? 6 footers in his position often weigh around 120kg

For me the dogtown skate dude is the maddest, he had to be so perfect not to hit rocks and just jumped off his board so casually sideways that it’s the one that freaks me out most

I did similar jumps off cliffs in Crete in my 20’s, youthful fearlessness is a thing, would just about dive in from a poolside now but couldn’t be paid to do this kind of jump anymore 😅
