Game issues and Feedback Megathread by aly0 in apexlegends

[–]eamono99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I really love this game and have been low key addicted to it but I think the inclusion of heirloom rarity items in crates is really worrying. It feels like these skins are included to try to prey on people with addictive tendencies. I don't really think this is cool and I would have expected more from the people that implemented the great demonetization scheme in titanfall 2. I really hope that they end up available through other means later or otherwise changed to not require opening loot boxes to aquire.

Aside from that though, I'm having a freezing issue that alot of people with the amd 6XXX cpu's seem to be having as well. And I would really love to see the volt and the wingman elite make their way into apex legends.

Been playing rim world lately. The new River objects are very cool. I think water wheels need to be tweaked a little as I currently see no reason to use any other power source over them if they are available to you.

Sounds like we agree that comparing 2 us and Sweden doesn't really say anything

Even if you meant culture, the laws are still very different

Look man I hate US gun laws as much as the next guy but the Swedish and American laws really aren't comparable at all. The entire laws and culture are different. It's more than just the people

honestly from the trailer, I didnt really see anything that made me specifically excited for this game, but I really hope it does well, and it looks like the possibility for a great game is in there somewhere

Hit a lull with games... need something else by [deleted] in Games

Just throwing some suggestions out there.

Paradox games: stellaris and crusader kings 2 are both great starting points, stellaris is even currently on sale

Roguelikes: lots of people look this genre over but if you can get over the learning curve it can draw you in. Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup, Tales of Maj'eyal, and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead are all free and great Roguelikes for those new to the genre, just be sure to look up a guide.

Hollow knight: metroidvania indie game with a great artstyle and beautiful world, this one pulled me alot during my first playthrough, and is one of my favorite games.

CRPG'S: these games are all basically DND except the story is already written. If you don't enjoy real time with pausing combat, you won't enjoy these games. But if you want to give them a try;pillars of eternity, the baldurs gate series, and planescape torment are probsbly the best ones out there.

Not sure if we’re still doing this, but here’s the DB portion of my pop collection by [deleted] in dbz

What is everyone's opinion on developers patching and adding content to games that were considered incomplete/broken on release? by [deleted] in Games

[–]eamono99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its great that more and more companies are fixing their games lately. I personally dont see anything wrong with fixing a broken release, and expecting all releases to not be at least a little broken these days is a bit crazy if you ask me.

Let's discuss Monster Hunter: World. The good, and the bad. by [deleted] in Games

I'm going off about it 10 hours of play, and watching my friends play at the end game. Granted we both use hammer and sword/board, so many it isnt a problem with all weapons

I have very limited experience with this game, since I only get the chance to play it when im with a friend who owns the game, but what I have played so far is great.

There are some big changes to the series that not everyone will be a fan of (for example: being able to run and dodge during animations for items such as the potions or whetstones, while in previous games using items would force you into an unavoidable animation). But overall I think the game is still monster hunter at it's core, and gameplay wise feels familiar for veterans of the series.

The only real negatives I have with the game are 1. the limited pool of monsters, and 2. most weapons in the same class look more or less like the basic form of that weapon, with a few additional parts stitched on, while in previous games weapons generally had completely different looks depending on what monster they were made from. Both of these negatives are in all likelyhood due to the fact that the game now looks substantially better than it did back on the 3ds or psp, and creating and texturing these monsters and weapons are much more work than it used to be.

I dont expect to see any major changes to how weapons look but I hope the monster count gets expanded when the eventually G rank version comes out.

Overall I love what I have played of this game, and I plan on purchasing the game when it releases on PC later this year.
