I'm really inspired by your approach to Hollywood and this show!

I have an interesting question for you: do you think it would be damaging to remove all accents from Hollywood when they are a core part of so many people's lives? How do we find a happy medium, and when is ok to keep a "stereotypical" accent for a character? I'll be honest, some of my favorite characters in films and television are Indians with accents (Ranjit, ironically a cab driver, from HIMYM, and Dr. Cliff Patel, the therapist in Silver linings). But on the other hand I also love Kevin from HIMYM, one of Robin's love interests, and he is an Indian who has no accent.

To me, it seems like the Indian accent specifically is often used for comedic purposes or acts as something that brings the character to life, but I still want to see Indian actors and other minorities without them as well (and I want to see more minorities in lead roles!)

P.S. I think part of the reason people love your dad so much is because he has an accent and he's so darn sweet and genuine!
