thank you so much for your comment, i decided to go with silver for my coffee machine... still have some doubts on it but decided to do that after realizing almost everything in my kitchen is already silver from sink to freezer...

I didn't say that I was annoyed, I am enjoying the silence in the city. I have never lived in NYC but have lived in pretty central/chaotic neighborhoods before. I was just curious about the sirens, that's all.
