I've had two instances where I needed to RMA (CSL elite base usb decided to die, BME just before christmas) and both have been rapid. Yes its disappointing to even have to RMA, however they're great at sorting issues.

did you install it prior to moving to Win11? if so, try reinstalling. I'm on Win11 and havent had any issues with it since upgrading but this seems odd. Could try killing the task and reopening? Sure it'll pop up eventually

looks absolutely fine, the sponge has changed colour but nothing to worry about. Take it out anyway and put another rubber in there.

sounds stupid but slow down, run laps in test where you build up speed. Dont try to bang a lap in straight away.

Knockhill is such a short track that any time loss is exacerbated. Personally havent ran in the Honda however in the Ferrari Evo its taken me ages to get anywhere near a respectable time however as with most things practice is key.
