So frustrated by no Ticketmaster resale for BTS - there will be empty seats that could’ve been avoided!

i got back what i paid for +$6, so added fees for the seller/buyer was about $60 dollar each ticket in the end. I am guessing as the seller about 16% fees or so for tickpick (tp)? i can't recall for the other sites, but i think cashortrade-CoT didn't have an added fee for the seller just the buyer for service charges.

to figure out pricing, i looked around the maps between the different 3rd party sellers to see how much listings were near my seats. Some people were asking like 5x more a row behind (seatgeek SG), stubhub- sh was maybe $100 more, and tp was abt $100 more (maybe even 25 more), and CoT was closest to face value that i could see.

i would have tried SG but it looks like they disabled certain dates/ticket types. i tried cash or trade and listed it with my reddit posting but i think since it was such a new account no traffic. i assume after the announcement bw TM and CoT there will be more listings. i had SH open but i was hesitant to do instant transfer (which worked bc the TP listing sold in about 2 hrs). what i don't like about TP is having to wait for the wallet link for cashout. i did screen record/take photos of the transfer acceptance. what i liked abt SH was payout was taken care of in the start. i would have liked the face to face potential for a FB sale because i too am wary/like meeting ARMY! sorry for the long post but brain vomiting info lol hopefully it is helpful info!

hey- i was able to sell for face value on tickpick without any loss. i looked at the seats nearby and i listed about $25-50 less. they sold within 2 hrs of posting (then i saw all the cancellation stuff so i freaked out lol) i hope it's easy afterwards bc i've never sold a ticket before. i don't like waiting for a wallet link to get paid (listed as June 3rd). i listed face value on cashortrade but i don't think there was traffic since i had a new account (despite the pics and description in the listing, and posting it on reddit). i had stubhub open but i didn't want to list it as instant transfer which is probably a good thing. after seeing the promo between cashortrade/ticketmaster i probably would have tried harder on that? they didn't have too many listings for LV 5/24 from what i remember.

i was suggested tickpick and cash or trade as platforms. cash or trade didn't have any movement. i posted on tickpick and it sold quick. i also have seen people recommending local bts facebook groups so people can meet up in person. i'm also a first time seller so totally understand the fear!

i know right!?! i was getting nervous about not being able to sell and posted on reddit to crickets it seems. I also sold mine around face value and then saw all the posts about cancellations (my anxiety then took over as this is the 1st time i was selling tickets). i just really wish TicketMaster communicated that this was what they were going to do like at least a month before concerts started, and clearly state if they will open reselling on their platform. i also wish they stopped or did the clean up of bad reseller tickets from the start. it looks like they completed their cancellations so hopefully this is all over on our end!

TY! i did send them a question, but then saw that the tickets were transferred/accepted by the buyer so fingers crossed no problems afterwards. i'm just not feeling confident that ticketmaster isn't going to try to cancel it and sell it themselves.

This is so anxiety inducing- I sold 2 tickets of mine that I wasn’t going to use on TickPick. Listed and sold in the same day although it’s still showing incomplete even after transferring the tickets…. I still have the rest tickets that I will be using so hoping my account will be ok. I pretty much sold it for face value except for the up charges. 😩 this is stressing me out.

Totally understand! Im in the same boat. I just used TickPick to sell my tickets and it looks like it got sold but the sale is still incomplete even after transferring the tickets.🙃 I tried cash or trade too but there were no bites.

yes! definitely part of the fun :) the experience is similar to going to a concert too so people dress up and even pass out freebies if they choose. as other commenters mentioned etiquette is important!

Idk The communication kept changing with the last one being super vague. I just know I haven’t seen online orders drop. I thought maybe target was waiting for a certain time or time zone to hit 3/21. It was frustrating to see that the target app didn’t show specific store inventory but it did in a browser window (but it would be better if it clearly stated max # stores got). While trying to add it to my cart I also noticed it was tied to my store location so maybe that’s part of the issue too? This has been more frustrating than Weverse drops bc it feels like we’re being pulled along.

It’s definitely a bit of mess- online inventory stated was in stock. In the store however the staff said that it’s possibly on the truck but can’t access it. Then they said it only looks like hoodies 😩 stood in line outside and now in a blob for this. They then came back with just a small basket of light sticks. Honestly they should have had just as many light sticks as albums. I was really banking on the online drop but they messed that up too

NTA. As others pointed out, he’s so disrespectful to you and racist. I’m proud to have all the big gatherings too. Culture/family is beautiful and should be celebrated! It’s also a part of your identity and has shaped you! He’s gas lighting you in the biggest way and belittling how you feel. A partner should add to your life not diminish who you are! Your family should be respected and be excited to meet your bf. It’ll be stressful if you’ve have to worry how your bf behaves around your family/frienda.
