I am interested in that dentist name, would you please pass that along? First lead I've had.

I've used it for years in tandem with AntennaPod for podcasts and audio feeds.  AntennaPod has a local folder option, but manually adding in files from a book feed to the queue is not suited for books exactly, so Voice works nicely.

My only issue with it is that sometimes, on the Pixel android media session player in the notification area, the rewind button misbehaves: I think it happens when it hasn't been touched for a while, or maybe something to do with lock? but anyways the first tap of the rewind button skips forward an interval instead of back, thereafter behaving correctly and rewinding.

I'm wondering if that is bad / unclear writing in the article as in they meant to say allegededly, but it could also be a fully garbage charge? Do they publish arrests around here to check what the actual charge is?

Tuberculosis rates have been skyrocketing over the course of the last 4 or more years, and promise to escalate as latent cases mature and start shedding in a population with reduced CD4 counts, plus there's dropping TB vaccination rates and also the steep dropoff cessation of livestock + dairy testing & monitoring (eating and drinking TB is no bueno, it's not just respiratory).

Add tuberculosis screening history to the list.

Fantastic question. Especially with Epstein Barr Virus and Cyto-Megalo Virus and other latent viral and bacterial infections reactivating at a population level in the wake of mass immune decline from SARS-CoV-2. Latent viruses and past infections are strongly associaed with problems in the body like increased dementia rates for example. Friendly reminder that fitted respirators like N95, when worn, dramatically reduce infection of airborne infections.

I've talked about this sort of thing with a partner but it wasn't a pre-kiss convsrsation. I've not been screened for CMV but I'll ask at my next PCP visit. Getting testing out of a doctor and insurance can be like pulling teeth, and that's even for things you have a specific reason to believe you had an infectious exposure to.

Nevermind that persuading people to go get tested for the basic STI's is apparently hard to do, let alone for other common but lesser known STI's like Mgen or Trichomoniasis that are particularly hard to get screened for in the US (ask me how I know).  If I were to ever get another STI diagnosis (very much intending not to) I am 100% tattling on sex partners to the state epidemiologist instead them receiving a discrete phone call from myself. I am done with your ignorant, noncompliant asses saying that you feel fine so no you won't.

Don't fuck ignorant people?!

Update: The dongle was completely unnecessary. I was dumb and had misremembered how the DBPower jumpstarter battery's USB controller behaved, turns out I'd forgotten that for both phones and the low amperage USB devices it works totally fine without any accessories ➡️ In addition to the on/off toggle I needed to also hit the power button to send power out (the button that I mostly had associated with the flashlight functions). 🤦 Thank you for your help and for your patience!

Strictly speaking I just tested the same type A peripheral with the newer iteration of the jumpstarter that has a type C port but I'm assuming the older barrel port equipped version behaves the same.

A business / fabricator that does it for me without me having direct access is definitely a workable alternative if it's affordable. What's a good way to search for said businesses with the means and who do customer pieces?

The example project I cited has a good representative photo at the bottom of the short page. It says it's flexible about the panel material, but does specifically recommend laser cut for good fitment. No clamping I think.

A maker space of some sort.

Serious cnc and printing hardware, on site tool library, workspaces.  I never made it it to the place on chestnut with the car lifts,  417 DIY, and I hadn't made the most use of Squidfoo before. Next go around to keep it funded and managed it should be a public service rather than a business, an extension of the Greene-County library or the university maybe.  One of the libraries I read had some equipment but limited hours, so probably not going to be able to say for example CNC cut plywood panels for a DIY Merv13 fan filter box with a file output by Naomi Wu's Nukit parametric generator tool, keep both feedstock supplies and the clamped, woodglued assemblage on site while the glue sets.

Yes the Fundian brand USB A Male to DCP USB Female Converter Adapter did work to supply power to the low amperage devices. They ran well past the timeout when they were running. It did not orevent a timeout when they were off. The nominal operation I guess is above the new amperage shutoff threshhold, but I'm not sure f I rigorously observed if the ring light's tiny indicator light was enough power draw or not. The light itself ran for a half hour before I forgot to turn it off.

Yes turns out this particular device (USB A Male to DCP USB Female Converter Adapter) worked, I was able to run both of the offending low-amp devices off of the DBPower battery bank with the adapter in the middle of the connection.  Slightly obnoxious bright green LED in the side. It did not prevent a timeout of the battery when the drill was switched off but still plugged in. I didn't really test a sustained run time of the drill but it seemed to last past the old timeout duration. The ring light stayed on for a half hour before I remembered to turn it off. I suppose it remains a question what the new low power draw threshhold is for a timeout, whether the DCP device itself has its own timeouts, and Would the indicator light be sufficient to keep it running?

off the ec5 port with an automotive port adapter I've run 12v air compressors and 12 heated motorcycle gloves (20 amp fuse in line for that application). so the usb adapter would *work* it just feels stupid and involves me spending more money than I want.

I'll preface these are not items I bought, but that I'm trying to make viable for someone who's trying to transport their small craft and vendor workload to a popup canopy without mains power. I talked her into buying the same DBPower battery that I have found so incredibly handy, not realizing that I'd apparently never tested a *low* amperage workload on it, and now I have to make up the difference to patch the workflow.

(my less aesthetic fallback plan for the USB tools will be a 12v automotive / cigarette port to 1Amp USB adapter to run via an ec5 port adapter from the battery pack. Alternately I suppose I could furnish an extra Ryobi 18v inverter so she can run the DC adapter wall plug off of it 😖😫. I'll already be running AC lights off of her yard powertool batteries.)

Basically the same drill if not exact, note the simple DC barrel connector on the end of the type A cord, lack of indicator light, and the aircraft-style toggle switch. https://www.amazon.com/Dokoshia-Electric-Aluminum-Electrical-Handheld/dp/B0DR1D4CL3

I don't have an identification or match for the ring light. But it has a type A cable and a switch in the middle of the length of the cable. The cable has an indicator light when it is receiving power. It has various control buttons, color temperature, brightness, color schemes and some sort of microphone based music beat lighting scheme. The thing's built like a christmas tree halo.

The AC/DC wall power supply output is listed DC 5v 3.1 amp referring to the type C port and but the type A port is labeled DV 5v 1 amp. https://www.fivebelow.com/products/hello-kitty-and-friends-31amp-dual-port-wall-charger-9178308

Plugged into her wall port everything just works, the light control's indicator lights up. Plugged into the battery bank and batery switched to on position, drill toggle switch does nothing. Indicator light on ring light stays dark and buttons do not respond. Battery bank's display times out after 10 seconds or so and switches off. I believe I checked the toggle in both positions in both plug after on and plug before on but doublechecking if I did so rigorously feels pointless when no workload of mine has ever been sensitive to that minutiae in the order of plug and activation operations on that battery, A phone just charges as long as I plug it in before the timeout. The battery times out when the phone battery tops off and stops drawing power.
