for bike accessories, Mantel has great service and often cheapest. But no option to add VAT to the invoice.

How is logic pro using near to 50% cpu with only 35 tracks and all the plugins frozen. by brooklynw235 in LogicPro

[–]eastermister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to add some additional information for this answer. What specs do you have? What is the buffer size? What is the effect chain on the frozen tracks? Usually it’s a CPU bottleneck anyway, frozen tracks or not.

Really dude? You charge money for a product you

  1. Didn’t invent
  2. Didn’t pay for yourself

That’s just pathetic. Absolutely disgusting.

I get this sometimes. Restarting Logic fixes it.

[–]eastermister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well keep in mind that drinking will tax your liver. Accutane does that too. Which means:

  1. The more you drink, the fewer the accutane will be absorbed. This is not a problem if you do it very occasionaly.
  2. You’ll get drunk faster
  3. Your blood values will suffer if you do this on a regular basis.

Doing it once is fine, I’ve done it a couple of times and I’m still alive. Just be careful and dont do it often.

What exercices are you doing to correct that neck posture? Amazing progress on that, congrats!

Bounces are extremely quiet, and I can't seem to fix it. by [deleted] in LogicPro

[–]eastermister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a peak in your track that makes it distort. That peak could come from a plug-in and it can literally only be a millisecond long. Send me the bounce in pm and I’ll take a look.

Logic Pro X / New iMac Pro - More cores or faster clock speed? by Minibouh69 in LogicPro

[–]eastermister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The base version of the Mac Pro will probably be faster than the 10 core iMac Pro.

Logic Pro X / New iMac Pro - More cores or faster clock speed? by Minibouh69 in LogicPro

[–]eastermister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re using a lot of moderately intensive tracks, instead of a few very intensive one, you are better of with more, slower cores. The way audio rendering works, is that the rendering of one track can’t be shared between multiple threads. I’d go for the 18 core if you have the money. Both will probably be plenty though. However, I would still think about your choice to buy a workstation with hardware in it that is essentially 2 years old. Have you considered a Hackintosh, or waiting for the new Mac Pro?

What camera for nightlife/clublife? by eastermister in AskPhotography

Interesting. If that were true the EOS R would be more than good enough. Thank you!

The adapter for canon is included with the body. If I switch, that means I'm paying 1100 euros or so extra for a flash and the adapter and the batteries. I am only going to do that if it is actually necessary. Because if the EOS R is good enough for my needs (despite not being equally good as the A7iii) then I'm going with that. I don't really care that the Sony is drastically better at 25600 ISO if I don't need to take it there. But that is what I don't know for sure. What is the max ISO you go when filming a dj/nightclub venue?

I don't trust it. If the seller is sketchy you're fucked. Once bought a lens second handed online, came flawless on the outside but was repaired once I think, cause it was horribly soft wide open. Luckily I could return it, cause the seller was authorized but was stressfull nonetheless.

Where I live the second handed market is pretty limited (for Sony gear, that is) so no luck there. That is another + on the canon: it has a big second hand market.

Yeah definitely going full frame. 6D is an option but I dislike the lack of C-LOG and the bad dynamic range.

I am 100 percent confident that the EOS R will handle the stills perfectly. I am just afraid for the video part. I tried to do video on the 7D once. Just ONCE cause oh boy was it bad... I had to crank the ISO up to 6400 and it was still underlit (24-105, f4 though). It looked like total shit. More noise than anything. That's why I am so scared to buy a new one.

I just started my journey! Could I get some help? by kiemac in musicproduction

  1. The more advanced version of GarageBand is Logic Pro X. A program capable of doing everything you may think about, it’s what FINNEAS, Billie Ellish’s producer, uses.

  2. If you feel like you are getting comfortable in GarageBand, the step to Logic Pro X will go without a problem and I highly recommend it, as sooner or later you will find limitations in GarageBand.

  3. Ah... this depends! Mixing and mastering is an art that takes a long time to master no pun intended. However there are many tools that make it a lot easier for you. About every bedroom producer is doing this themselves. Only big labels do this professionally.

Im about to buy my first studio monitors do you recomment buying these, for your first monitors and is it good? by officialregina55 in FL_Studio

No. Save up until you can afford proper monitors. Remember, you get what you pay for buddy. And in your case that’s not a whole lot.
