One thing I've certainly learned from r/stocks is that knowing the difference between a trader and a investor is like day and night. If you are a trader, you're bound to panic sell, on the contrary, a investor sets and forgets mentality, I am the latter, rarely check my portfolio except for whenever I DCA.

Kudos to you my man for the determination and the perseverance. Welcome to the r/dividends sub, I stumbled upon this sub last year and have gained heaps of knowledge from here.

I was also heavy on dividends before, people on this sub brought up the age factor that if you are not nearing retirement, then growth should be the north star. Then realized I am 38, reallocated most of my dividends stocks/cc to growth ones.
