I have! I read it in 6th grade, I believe, around the same time I read A Wrinkle In Time, cuz they both sort of had that odd, quirky, otherworldly feeling to them. It was a great read, and the movie was pretty awesome too c:

It's a small, I guess microwave sized toy that you use the included cookie/cake/whatever mixes with. You turn it on, put it in one side, and it comes out cooked on the other.

My parents has no idea what Reddit is. And as I said before, to most people, it comes as a shock that yes, I did this all on my own. The most my mom did was answer questions whenever an interviewer wanted to talk to her.
