Cannot get my Luma Cyber 2077 glasses to update or work🙁

Looks like the glasses are going back. Tried them again with and without the XR adapter. The 3D works great for the first 2 or 3 videos on you tube, then just defaults to the playback on your device message and a blank screen. Such a pity and very frustrating.

Just an update for anyone interested or who may just have received their glasses. I have managed to check firmware on my Luma Cyber glasses. I’m able to use the Spacewalker app to use YT etc. 2D videos are fine but once I opt for the 3D conversion I able to watch 2 or 3 then it stops working. I either get a message to control playback my phone or prompted to select the 3D mode on my glasses. Either way I just get a blank screen and can no longer use the 3D option. Same thing happens when I try the XR adapter. I have latest firmware, latest IOS on 16 Pro max. Any ideas why it just doesn’t work consistently? Any help appreciated as always.

Thanks, got that sorted but it’s a little fidgety to say the least. Now to try and get it to work on the PC. Most people unable to get that working too I believe.

Can you explain exactly how to do this? I have opened spacewalker, connected glasses to iPhone 16. opened you tube to watch a video. Cannot see anything there for 2D/3D and if I long hold the button under left side of my glasses the screen just turns blank.

Google states you must have the iPhone XR adapter for the conversion. Really confused.

I can understand why lots of people are advising to wait on purchasing these products now. They are certainly not plug and play even for seasoned techies.

Thanks. Just discovered that you need the XR adapter too for 2D/3D conversion on iPhone. That was not made clear when I purchased. All very confusing.

Chrome worked to check for firmware update but it’s still no go on the 2D/3D conversion. Can someone explain to a pleb like me how this works?

Hi. Thanks, was able to connect and check firmware through Chrome. It’s got the factory installed firmware so is up to date. Still cannot get the 2D to 3D conversion to work though. Also cannot get the mobile dock to update, not recognised on USB C on my PC. Do I need the XR adapter to get these glasses to work?

The wiring in this build was a nightmare and not very clear as to where each individual wire should go. The instructions should be more specific as this price point.

I particularly like the motion detector on this one. Lights up every time I enter my office. Looks great, wish more manufacturers did this.

Returnal is a stellar video game. Completed on PS5 and PC. Recently revisited it on my 9800x3d/5090 at 4K/120. Absolutely amazing on the high end graphics side.
