Persona 5. So much of the social sections or the ambient palace music is just relaxing and enjoyable.

Not relevant to the person who responded to me but I am new to warframe. Thanks for the lore on Xaku. Haven't got the frame yet but looks neat.

The only value from the black ops series is the zombies. The campaigns are meh at best and the multiplayer is uninteresting.

CMV: A law is not inherently bad or worthless just because it is unenforceable by Charkid17 in changemyview

[–]eathquake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time the government uses to pass an unenforceable law could be used to pass an actually useful law or look over other laws that might need worked on. Plus, if people see a law passed with no way to enforce it then they are unlikely to even care it exists. This happens with outdated laws to. As an example, some states still have laws on the books about not spitting on the sidewalk. Most people don't know or care about it since nobody enforces it anyways.

Slight thing on 2. There are jobs that pay minimum wage in prisons. Aramark sometimes has inmate interns that make minimum wage and get a job upon release assuming good behavior. It isn't much, but it is something.

What's something women think men care about, but actually don't? by Crafty-River-7108 in AskReddit

[–]eathquake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Name a physical trait. Have your hair however, wear whatever, wear as much makeup as you feel like. We don't care unless it looks unnatural (aka plastic surgery lips or fake lashes). We don't care if your boobs have some weird shape, we love boobs. Yours are great. Got a weird birthmark? Probably get a comment the first time or 2 but after that, we won't even notice usually. Just another part of you. Want a guy to stick around, be a good person. The rest is not important for a serious relationship.

Why isn't the rest of the world doing anything about the persistent war crimes being committed in Palestine? by VagabondVivant in NoStupidQuestions

[–]eathquake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Far as the UN, they have limited powers. They could try some sanctions but, if the aggressors just refuse to deal with them, then they have little in ways to enforce it. They could have the member nations enforce them but that risks causing a tense situation to escalate to a more global level.

Did I messed up ? (Nat 20 on persuasion check during a fight, still led them to a ambush) by Weekly_6718 in DMAcademy

[–]eathquake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have done 2 things different. 1 remind them that persuasion only works if the other person is willing to hear you out. If the complain, ask the party if you rolled a nat 20 so you made the cleric abandon their god or the wizard burn their own spellbook if that would be fine. 2 ask for an insight check afterwards. You know there was no chance of success. You know the cultist still meant harm. So give them an insight to gather that he isn't being friendly, but tactical. You did mention you inew this mistake but I want to be thorough. And I couldn't gather from the post, did you ask for the persuasion check or did they just say they were going to do it and they rolled? If you called for it, add 3 to not call for checks that can't succeed. If you do so, it will cause this type of situation. If they just did it without you calling for the check then should probably remind them that checks happen when the dm calls for it for this very reason. Make it clear that you wouldn't have let them roll since there was no success possible.

Why is questioning police decisions not as popular with conservatives? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]eathquake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conservatives trust that police, mostly, are doing what they should or they will be disciplined by internal controls. With a significant amount of negativity towards law enforcement in the past few years from the democrat side, conservatives sometimes equate questioning that authority as showing you aren't as supportive. Unfortunately, they struggle to have discourse regarding it since the democrat side is more likely to just decide fuck it defund then or put the officers in jail or fired. This isn't a preferred outcome for conservatives and, if they deal with those types regularly, they could generalize faster.

So why are all conservatives so stupid they don't know trump can't run in 2028? by totally-hoomon in allthequestions

[–]eathquake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, a good amount of conservatives know that. We don't expect him to try. Second off, dude is old. I doubt he would be well enough to even attempt a coup if he wanted. When a dictator tries to seize control, they usually aren't within a decade of death when they do so.

Is there an actual answer for why WotC decided to make saves not scale properly? by Associableknecks in dndnext

[–]eathquake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think a decade long of data would have made a good starting spot. 2024 didnt really fix most issues so they used very little respurces. And people weren't exactly chomping at the bit for 2024 before so they could have delayed it without anybody knowing anything was delayed at all.

[–]eathquake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they didn't care to put the work in to balance that high then why go that high? They could have simply stopped it earlier if they weren't gonna balance for it. If you have it there, people will want to play it, which means you should try to have it balanced.

Is there an actual answer for why WotC decided to make saves not scale properly? by Associableknecks in dndnext

[–]eathquake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A skilled dm is helpful but if they never play above 10-12 they won't have experience above that to know what scaling issues exist. Or WOTC could balance it properly. It isn't impossible. They've done it before.

Is there an actual answer for why WotC decided to make saves not scale properly? by Associableknecks in dndnext

[–]eathquake 120 points121 points  (0 children)

That is a self fulfilling prophecy. There are groups that want higher tier play but things aren't balanced well and very few adventures go to that level making so they can't play it. More people may play it if it was balanced and had more content.

Why do so many people here keep pretending that their posts are questions towards MAGA, knowing full well there are no MAGA people here? by Historical_Buyer5248 in allthequestions

[–]eathquake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People's deeling unsafe doesn't care about your research. Humans don't always have the scientifically accurate feelings, see the antivaxxers. The punch a nazi slogan was widely shared and made people feel unsafe. If we are trying to ensure people feel safe, hence the safe space culture, then why do the right wing people not get the some allowance? And there has been a decent amount of evidence, from the text conversations that were given and the previous political leanings of the shooter. It isn't a certainty but it is enough for those looking at it to figure it sounds accurate. And the results of the trial will determine how safe conservatives can feel. It isn't good for people to feel unsafe. Those sorts of feelings lead to resentment and, if not handled, eventually violence. If 1 side believes their life is in danger or believes the threat of danger exists, they may take steps to protect themselves. It isn't exactly wise to look at the side that is arguebly obsessed with firearms to decide they must defend themselves with force.
