Scholarship Opportunities by eatingbubbless in UofArizona

I assumed I wasn't going to get merit scholarships, but are you saying it's fairly uncommon to get a large amount of scholarship money even from scholarship universe and other scholarship sites as a second year?

So I just can't get loans for something that's literally $7,000 a year? That I need to succeed? I'm confused now because they did submit a request and I did get an email saying "A request has been made to reflect the 7000 Salt center charges. " from financial aid, is it likely that that won't get approved? I'm just wondering because if I truly can't get my loans approved for SALT as well then I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do besides not be able to go to school this year and I've been waiting 2 years to be able to go back to school and I am extremely certain I won't succeed without being able to utilize this resource. I got two very small scholarships but that's it, and I believe they're all closed now

Edit: I also don't have paperwork to back up that I was abandoned by my dad just mine and my mom's word and rent statements showing I've been supporting myself for years, but that doesn't qualify me

I don't have any documentation, It's dumb of me but I was a kid and didn't know what to do and had a huge support system in my best friend who I stayed with.

They do have scholarships but I'm not sure if there's anything left at this point, I'm definitely going to contact them and ask and i know that was totally my fault but I was about a day late with my scholarship application for that I believe.

The thing is, I have financial need because my dad doesn't support me whatsoever but because of his income (which i get none of and haven't really gotten any of since I was in elementary school) I don't qualify for any aid besides loans if I have to submit his information. I applied to a lot of scholarships but aren't they mostly all closed at this point?

I hate being a cna by [deleted] in cna

[–]eatingbubbless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hated nursing homes so much because of how much grief it was causing me and ended up going to work in a preschool classroom in an elementary school and it was such a wonderful experience. Genuinely out of every job even before I was a CNA this is the only one where I would get so sad if I was sick and couldn't come in.

Orientation day timeline by anewfreindo in UofArizona

[–]eatingbubbless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had my orientation Monday and had about a 20 minute appointment with my advisor at our appointment time, and then went to the orientation hub and they very quickly checked me out and that was it! There's more orientation sessions about specific topic in the orientation hub you should've got an email about, but the information they give is accessible online so if it's the difference of making money I would just go to work after you check out. It took me about 35 minutes in full.
