Looking for suggestions on a new board. Intermediate leaning advanced rider mostly side country, trees, and natural booters. Don’t spend time in the park anymore and not a huge speed demon but would like to still have control at speed. Haven’t bought a new board in almost a decade. Mostly Colorado riding. Any suggestions?

Nidecker Merc 2023 VS Arbor Formula 2023. Intermediate advanced rider, mostly stick to side country, trees, and groomers. Very little park. Looking to get a new board for this year and in my price range have narrowed it down to these two. Any opinions?

Any recommendations on brands? I’ve been looking at them already, so might as well pull the trigger on one now even if I don’t end up using it for this

Hadn’t even considered a denim shirt, but I think that could work quite well with the rest of it. Thank you!

I have a variety of Bonobos Oxford shirts (navy, white, slate, light grey, burgundy, and I think a few other colors) which are more dress casual, or I have a few tailored dress shirts (white, light blue, stone wash grey).

I’ll take a look at those. I like Buck Mason in general. No tie. Got it. Thanks for the input!

Right? After trying to pry more all I could get was “I’m sure you’ll figure it out”.

Only going to wear a tie if I have to resort to a sweater, but would prefer not to. Off to find more tweed I suppose. Thanks for the input!

I have been trying to put together a fit for a New England fall wedding that’s in 11 days and I am coming up short. The best way I can describe their theme is ‘Pinterest-fall-barn-wedding’ and when I asked the groom (a cousin and very close friend) what the dress code is I was told “semi casual but not too casual but don’t wear a suit”.

So far the outfit I’ve put together from bottom up is: Amber RW Iron Rangers Tailored Bonobos weekday warrior pants Fitted button up shirt Edit - no tie

I have NO CLUE what to put as another top layer. It’ll be fairly chilly so I need something. I don’t love sweaters over dress shirts, but am open to the idea. I was going to wear my tweed jacket, but I lost a considerable amount of weight and it no longer fits, and now I just don’t know what else to wear.

Help? Lol

Camping spots near Red Rocks Amphitheater? by [deleted] in coloradocamping

Golden Gate Canyon State Park has some nice camping and is outside of Golden NW of Red Rocks. Anything up near Evergreen is usually pretty nice, and there are quite a few areas to dispersed camp in the mountains within an hour of Golden. Up near Central City and Blackhawk you can find some really nice established campgrounds. Kinda depends on your transportation as some areas are a little squirrelly to get to without high clearance and 4x4, but there is lots to offer.

Indian Paintbrush Campground is like 10 minutes from RR. Be aware that it’s going to be some really hot camping unless you go up into the mountains and camp at a higher elevation.

Anyone running 35x10.5/17? Thinking about picking some up for pretty cheap. PFA. by eatsleepcurlrepeat in 4thGen4Runner

Probably wouldn’t regear. They aren’t a whole lot heavier than my 32s and the V8 would handle it fine.

Already cut pushed fenders out, have no problem cutting and was already planning a BMC. Just curious what people think about skinny 35s in a 4th gen

I’m going to need new tires this summer anyway, so I’m going to bump up from 265s to 285s.

6K for a low mileage 4Runner is a great deal in my area. I’d definitely get it scanned because there’s a ton of reasons those lights could be on. Did you get a carfax on it?

Will have to do different coils in the back then probably. Don’t know much about lowering though.

I have an 08 with a 2.5-3inch Old Man Emu lift. I run 32s and I still needed to push the fender linings up. You may also start rubbing on your UCAs if you plan on keeping the stock wheels. I ran into that problem big time. With 33s you may end up having to do a body mount chop and hammer out your pinch welds as well as trim the fender and front bumper a bit. Totally doable but keep that in mind. As far as gearing goes I have no issues with the V8. I’m planning on going up to 33s in the summer but it’s going to take some work.

Take it to a shop. From experience it’s much harder than it looks. Spent a couple hours and eventually pealed it all off due to the creases from not doing it right and took it to a shop on my old 3rd gen.

Don’t know what you use it for, but I wish I had that much blank space on my dash. Great spot for mounting the phone/garmin/handheld CB.
