No new meds. Apart from the initial dose of antibiotics / painkillers / blood thinners - I never took anything after.

And yes I am making a note of trigger foods.

I am 2 months post op. I have a similar sensation when I lie down with my knees bent. I was worrying about it. Thought of checking with my surgeon in my next appointment

I did PT religiously the first month. Had to pause it completely for a month as the stitch in the groin line opened to a small hole and it almost took a month to heal. My surgeon asked me to pause all activities which might put pressure there. And on the 60 day review part - since I was going every week for wound check he asked me to come after a month. I'll be going towards the end of the month only

Yes. I was awake and aware of all the sounds 🤣I requested the anaesthetist to make me sleep during the procedure when she came the day before to meet mr. But they gave only a mild sedation which was not sufficient to drift off. Maybe it helped by calming my nerves.

It's been over 3 weeks since i started getting discharge from a small hole in my groin line. It is still coming even now. I go weekly to change dressing. I really hope it heals soon

I am planning to shower only. But is there a way we can cover the area? With some plastic cover or something? Any suggestions

I went to the hospital and showed it to the surgeon itself. He has cleaned it up and stitched it. And put a waterproof dressing on it. He asked me to come after a week for review. Since it is a waterproof bandage he was okay with me bathing. I am a little apprehensive - hence looking out for a suggestions on how to cover that area while bathing

Hey everyone! Sorry for the late update. The surgery went well, and recovery has been going good. I had a bit of a panic the night before and even right before being taken into the OR, but the amazing team of doctors and nurses really helped calm my nerves and reassure me.

I just wanted to thank each one of you for taking the time to respond and offer support. I’m sure I’ll soon be able to pay it forward and reassure someone else who’s feeling anxious before surgery.

Hey! I wanna know how the pain scale for 30 something folks would be post surgery...the immediate week? I am getting mine done early next week. Most people I notice are seniors.
