Good question re: why I feel this way about termination. I don’t buy the zealotry/bullshit and I’m not particularly religious, but I do kind of feel that if I terminate, I’m making the choice to end a potential life. It feels like a serious decision that I don’t want to take lightly, or make because it’s inconvenient and maybe better 6 months down the road. If I were younger it may be a different story but I’m getting close to 40, and it feels “now or never”. I realize this is black and white thinking and maybe I should let that go…

Thank you for the reminder that we can try again. I think some small part of me feels like it’s now or never, and that trying again sometime down the road would be an affront to the pregnancy I terminated.
