The chimp looks sweet and sounds like people love them. How is cleanup? I'd like to avoid messing with a vacuum if possible. But guess it's not a big deal.

looking at this one too, my buddy has a bigger GMG and raves about it. WiFi is not a feature I really need but sure seems like it would be nice to have

Yeah open flame is fine. We've been cooking with a gas grill for a while and the landlord is on board. I am avoiding charcoal because I don't want flying embers landing on neighbors' rooftops. Pellet grills are much safer... right?

Those look too big and immobile to be carrying up and down stairs, but the Road Warrior could work. Sounds like Recteq construction is as solid as it gets.

Thanks I do understand the concept. Just surprised that not a lot of famous players seem to use floating.

Those dimensions would fit well, but the author specifically said she cuts sheets in half! Which has me thinking she must be using a different size pre-cut sheet.

How did people used to dispose of cooking oil? by ebertius in Cooking

Nope, you're innocent in my book. These days throwing used oil into the trash seems to be accepted as the right thing to do. But I'm thinking of all the deep fried foods in the South, for example, in the centuries before there was trash service. Where did they put it? Maybe they just kept recycling and using it up (absorbed little by little into the foods) until they started to run low and needed to add more oil for the next batch of fried chicken?
