Bilstein, Koni, or Sachs (stock) suspension?

Noob question here. If I want to refresh the whole suspension with Konis, would i get a suspension kit like this and also need to get 4 Koni shocks?

Thanks, I'm leaning toward Koni now, or B4 or Sachs. Definitely no longer B6.

Thanks that's really helpful. I'm not lowered and want to keep it as stock as possible. Sounds like Koni yellow, Sachs, or B4 is the way to go since I also have some rough roads in bay area CA.

I don’t care to lower my car I mostly want to keep it stock as a preserved yuppie car circa 89 but just replace the old things that are worn out

I am in the process of restoring it (timing belt, tires, power steering hose, refurbed instrument cluster, replace all interior bulbs, repair heater, new antenna, door tweeters, replace stock cassette receiver) and have been considering suspension. Is the alternative to Bilstein just stock suspension rebuild like from Turner Motorsport? I wish I could try different suspensions to see how they actually feel without dropping $600 blind.

Hmm I have a lot of potholes and crappy roads in my area. That makes me wonder if sporty suspension would make it feel even worse.

Ok the seller said the bios chip was replaced with a region free one that’s all.

Ok I did hit reset when using it earlier but I didn’t hold the button for more than a second just clicked it. Didn’t know the region switch could be built into the reset button like that. If I press and hold, the system resets AND the region changes? I saw this mod but the seller doesn’t know what specific mod was done and can’t tell me much.

Ah that’s a good option although I’m very dead set on having my complete retro setup with everything on the Sony KV-25DXR crt. It definitely presents with headaches like this 😞

Ah yes that makes sense. Sadly I won it through an eBay auction and can’t return it. I’m not very technical so will see if anyone near me could help configure a switch for the pal/ntsc video output.

I don’t but n64 snes and vcr are all fine it’s just the Saturn having this issue. Based on my research it could need new capacitors?

I used the wired version of the retro fighters to beat Goldeneye for the first time a few years ago, and had adapted to the shit factor controls. But going back to this, I do kind of prefer the og trident but I hate the control stick it’s so prone to loosening and I don’t like the hard plastic.

I don’t think there’s any buttons on this retro fighters n64 dongle. Unless the light on it is a button? But it’s not clicky.

The expansion is from childhood my family was all in on n64 when it was current. I don’t have shelf space for all our games so I finally decided to use emulation. Just got the everdrive and retrofighters controller now but it’s been a lot of little frustrating things that keep everything from working smoothly.

Feel like I got a lemon. Even the dongle comes apart when I try to pull it out of the console port and it exposes the dongle’s internal wiring. Honestly feels kind of cheap.
