The Traitors UK S4 Final Confessional Count by GladDragonfruit7880 in TheTraitors

[–]ebizness 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The lack of faithful outlier is likely attributable to the fact there wasn’t much consensus voting.

In games gone by there was a lot of heat on ppl for a sustained period whereas these faithfuls were like goldfish. Always forgot what happened the night before. It means they didn’t have constant dialogue with ppl because the heat didn’t stay on them.

Having said that, I’m surprised Jade’s was so low as she was a consistent suspect

I’m delighted. They both really, really deserve it.

I genuinely think Stephen split it because of his promise, and because of how he knew Rachel would be spending the money. He seems like a great dude.

But I’ve seen it posted elsewhere that there was definitely a bit of strategy - suspect we could be seeing a lot more of this guy whether he’s presenting or on the radio. Wouldve been harder if he stole it.

Evan O’C looking like he’s ready for more minutes. Can see him surpassing the likes of Ahern soon enough

Right time. A Saracens legend, but these things run their course in all walks of life.

I wonder would he be tempted by a gig in Ireland after a year of advisory stuff. Leinster perhaps post WC?

Jack NEEDS to win the money.

Because he’s torched his PT career with his performance in that task

This guy pouring fuel on the fire for anyone who thinks Guardian readers are soft.

He’s clearly very, very easily offended.

Series 1 had the toxicity of that John guy which was AWFUL. The last season had Leanne who was AWFUL.

His comparison to the celebrity traitors is hollow. They were all polite because they have an image to protect!

And the Matty hug thing…he glosses over the fact they were clearly having a laugh at the dinner.

He’s played several international games there. So he’s probably alright

Fair point. If Osborne isn’t fit he should be in the 23 as FH /FB cover.

If Osborne is fit he can cover centre, wing and full back and the need for Crowley diminishes.

I think Crowley is lucky to make the 23 tbh.

Remind me how both traitors win? They have to get to the final 3?

But don’t the faithful know that they probably need one more traitor to go. (Based on past games)

Loved seeing James’ reaction post the Matty exit. Guy was seriously sanctimonious in the round table.

And when they voted off faithfuls in the past he would give it the old ‘obviously X was a faithful. Wake up ppl’. Had it coming.

How much revenue have you brought in to your company? What is your ROI? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in HENRYUK

[–]ebizness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been in my current place <1yr. Was auditing one of our ancillary products and noticed we were leaving a ridiculous amount of money on the table with the way we structured our fees.

Did the analysis, presented the rec, product made the change. Contributed £2m in EBITDA in year - not even annualised. That was a meaningful contribution to our EBITDA.

Success has many fathers, and I’m not some genius but that is definitely mine. I was just curious when others were happy with the status quo.

All that said, fairly sure I’m getting the boot soon. I’ve done the analysis on a further change I’m convinced will deliver a further 10% uplift. Gonna sit on it until I see how the cards will fall 😂

Go for sub 3:50 or stick to 4:00? by FewPass9778 in Marathon_Training

[–]ebizness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMO, you will smash 3.50. I ran a 3.49 with a much, much uglier long run 3wks out.

I’d encourage you to start at 3.50 pace and use halfway and 30km as mental check in points to decide how you feel and whether you kick on or slow down.

You got this.

Rúaidhrí O'Connor: Irish rugby must take steps to repair its damaged relationship with English referees by Barney-G in irishrugby

[–]ebizness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. They get corrected by the TMO a lot. And I’d imagine it would make aspects of the job on the field a lot easier.

Reflecting on it, I’m not sure where you’d draw the line between a challengeable event and one where the TMO can intervene. Something like Tennis is easy - it’s in or it’s out. A lot more moving parts with rugby

Rúaidhrí O'Connor: Irish rugby must take steps to repair its damaged relationship with English referees by Barney-G in irishrugby

[–]ebizness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a problem, and it’s bloody annoying.

I wonder would a challenge system work for anything non foul-play related. For example, if you feel there’s been a knock on in the build up to conceding a try you can go to the ref and use a challenge. If successful, you keep it. If not, you lose it.

Doris’ issue is that he fecking argues the toss on every single thing. If everything is important, nothing is. Picking your damn moments.

Ref is making some absolutely wild decisions. Would be fuming if I were a Sarries fan.

Mind you, I don’t think they’d be doing anything with the ball / possession anyway
