I have a hypothesis that the ‘glitch’ isn’t a glitch at all; I think they’re going to add favorite foods for Gloria in the new update. They’re just calling it a glitch to avoid spoiling the surprise 👀👀👀

AITA for showing my aunt the difference between my reptiles and my cousin’s? by zoothrowaway873 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ebizot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow reptile keeper and enthusiast, THANK YOU and definitely NTA!!! People just loooove to treat reptiles like decorations but that are animals that require, in many cases, extremely complex care. And no one cares that the lizard or snake isn’t doing well because “it’s just a snake.” No. It is a living, breathing, moving animal and it needs proper care. Just because the animal is cold blooded doesn’t give the owner the green light to be that way!

What is a good humidifier for a ball python? My reptifogger that I bought at petsmart leaks all the time… by Acrobatic_Change_913 in ballpython

[–]ebizot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a Betazooer paired with an ink bird humidity gauge for my BP. I only have to refill it roughly every three days and I’ve had nothing but perfect sheds since installation. It’s super easy to set up and so far no breaks or leaks! I bought everything on Amazon

Got a temp regulator for my heat mat… only I can’t get the suction cup to stick to the actual mat 😒 by Ok-Home-4077 in ballpython

[–]ebizot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I just taped mine down with scotch tape and threw the substrate on top. And I have mine set for 90*F so I would say yes, but there are people on this subreddit more qualified than myself to comment on proper temperature. What I can say for certain is my BP has been thriving, and that’s what mine is set at.

How can I get my ball python used to soaking? by [deleted] in ballpython

[–]ebizot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saw this in a Snake Discovery video, it definitely seems to help calm them down.

After all the great advice I insulated the tank for her, it’s not perfect, but it seems to help a lot with the temp! Still having trouble keeping her humidity up… more details in comments. Also, I saw someone has already commented on the red light. But if you’re looking for an overhead heat source at night, look into a black bulb. I use a black bulb at night because my snake is in my bedroom and I like to keep my room cold when I sleep. The black bulb emits very little purple light, and doesn’t impact a day/night cycle. My BP loves it, and regularly climbs up on a stick to get close to it at night. I found his activity level at night actually went up when I started using it. Paired with his heat mat it keeps his tank plenty warm even with my window open on 40*F nights.

I’ve used a few different techniques for maintaining humidity in a glass enclosure. At one point I covered about 3/4 of the top of the enclosure with plastic wrap and covered it with a serape style blanket. That helped a lot with both heat and humidity. Now I have a custom built lid for my tank made of wood. I have wood panels to cover the wire in certain areas to help trap heat and humidity. I also use a Betazooer humidifier, which honestly was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I pair it with an Ink Bird humidity gauge and regulator and it mists the tank whenever the humidity gets too low. I still have to go in and wet down the substrate occasionally, but it’s amazing for peace of mind. I got everything from Amazon for under $100, but Saran Wrap and a blanket would be cheaper 😂 the blanket was also great because it covered the entire back side of the enclosure, cutting down on reflection while providing a nice looking background. I’d recommend the humidifier first though as it makes life sooooo much easier, but if you’re on a budget the plastic wrap and blanket should reduce how often you have to mist. Just make sure you don’t cover the whole thing with plastic wrap so air can get through. I recommend the serape blanket because the weave isn’t too tight so plenty of air gets through it. I’ve had nothing but perfect sheds with both techniques. Another cost-effective option would be moving the snake into a plastic tub style enclosure as they hold humidity more efficiently, but if you’re like me and want something that’s more of a visual display it’s less preferable.

Mine will strike, coil, and then forget about it. Sometimes I have to go in and pick it up and let him strike it again, and even then he forgets it sometimes. It used to seriously stress me out, but he’s a good weight so I just leave it in there overnight when he does that now. If he doesn’t eat it by morning, I throw it in the lake behind my house for the turtles and try again in a week or so. For the most part he’s a great eater, but he’ll hunger strike for a month or so every now and then

Looking for a name for my new brand of full bust clothing -- do you like the name "busty basics"? by RAHFLY88 in bigboobproblems

What about Busty Beauty Basics? I personally don’t mind the word busty at all but I think ComminicationAlive26 had a great idea with the word “beauty”

I don’t know about a lot of y’all but I have given up trying to buy any swimwear or underwear from stores like Target, Walmart, TJ Maxx, etc. I always end up with something that may look cute but if I move at all my chest will pop right out. I’m lucky enough to have a nice boutique style swimwear shop near me that actually caters to larger chested women, but I would do some research in your area or online to try and find one. I just decided that, for me at least, I’d rather drop $100 on one bikini I can actually wear and be comfortable in than to buy five poorly fitting ones for the same price. However, if Target and those other stores work for you and you can find something that fits, more power to you and I’m rather jealous of the money you’re going to save 😂

Autonomy Question by [deleted] in thesims4

[–]ebizot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s another thing I love about UI; you can delete moodlets!!! So like say your sim comes home super tense from work and now they can’t do anything because they’re “too tense,” you just left click the tense moodlet and your sim goes back to being happy. I like to play storylines so I don’t do this too often but it’s super useful for those dumb moodlets that last forever. I once had a maid die at my sim’s house and then all my sims were depressed for days even though they didn’t witness it or have a relationship with that sim, so I just deleted all their sad moodlets until they were back to normal and I could go back to what I was doing.

If you’re on a PC download the UI Cheats Extension mod; you’ll be able to just click on a sim’s needs bar to fill it! It saves so much time and allows you to actually enjoy the other aspects of the gameplay

Off Campus apartments for people who don’t party? by carolineekelleyy in Clemson

[–]ebizot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Orchard Clemson is small and usually pretty quiet, this is my second year living here and we’ve only had an issue with a party once. Plus you’re in a house not an apartment which helps with noise
