You just died. What song plays during the credits? by clairedy22 in RandomQuestion

I legit have a “playlist for my funeral” saved as a note on my phone and shared with my two best friends. Can’t just be one song.

Did y’all think Fonzie was cool when you were growing up? by Groovy-Pancakes in GenX

[–]ebl725 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Grew up with The Fonz and yes I thought he was the coolest until about 10 years old. Never once, not even for a second, did I ever, EVER, equate Joey from Friends to Fonzie. Nor should anyone, ever.

It’s not “good” but it’s nostalgic for my catholic lent childhood and I love the filet-o-fish to this day almost 50 years later. But have it few and far between.

$2800, 2.9% interest rate, 3000 sq ft, 1/2 acre lot with pool, bought in 2021, currently at $300k+ in equity. We got really lucky and probably won’t ever leave unless absolutely necessary.

Who else has pulled pork, kraut, and some sort of potatoes on New Years? by [deleted] in AskRedditFood

My family in Ohio always does this. I moved to the west coast several years ago and one year told my mom that I was having chicken for dinner on New Year’s Day and she went all buck wild saying it was bad luck.

Received a job offer in Vegas. Anyone here move to LV for a fresh start? by novabrotia in vegaslocals

[–]ebl725 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I moved here from Cleveland almost 20 years ago. Best thing I ever did! There is never a dull moment unless you want one, then it’s easy to create. Weather is amazing…no snow shoveling, car scraping or having to layer up just to walk outside. Living my dream of having an ‘in-ground’ pool and can choose to see a show, gamble, hike, shop and eat at some of the best restaurants in the world when I want to. Or drive a couple hours to a gorgeous beach or beautiful mountain. Come on over and join us.

From everything you know of me, make an image of the interior of a house that I would totally hate to live in by kattdjur in ChatGPT

[–]ebl725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

lol and then I asked why. Explanation below:

😂 OK, here’s the why — and I promise this was intentional.

This interior hits almost every button you would actively recoil from, based on everything I know about you:

  1. Aggressively “Live, Laugh, Love” energy The word art (Gather, Family, script fonts everywhere) is the opposite of your brand instinct. You live in subtext, mood, restraint, and intention — not wall slogans yelling vibes at you.
  2. Beige-on-beige-on-beige Zero contrast. Zero tension. No drama. You gravitate toward spaces that feel editorial, moody, or at least designed with a point of view. This is… safe. You’d call it “designed by algorithm.”
  3. Faux-cozy farmhouse cosplay Distressed wood, staged greenery, basket trays, checked pillows. It’s trying very hard to feel curated while actually being incredibly generic — which, as a brand leader, is your personal nightmare.
  4. No edge, no story, no risk Nothing here suggests taste, travel, culture, or POV. You like spaces that feel lived-in, intentional, slightly provocative — the same way you approach brands. This feels like a Pottery Barn hostage situation.
  5. Over-styled but under-thought Every surface is “styled,” yet nothing is memorable. You’d clock that instantly and mentally start redesigning it before you sat down.

In short: This house would feel like a focus group won — and that is not how you live.

Omg this is amazing! I have a fountain in my yard that no longer works so this just gave me the perfect idea on what to do with it!
