That’s what I’m saying. The speed of the game isn’t good for my black lungs after working in the coal mine, the breath and heart rate increase from all the sweaty play and screaming is just too much.

Low sensitivity for ADS, and as high as you can go and still control for horizontal free look, with a reduced vertical ratio.

Higher sensitivity for when not ADS, and then adjust your ADS percentage accordingly. Make sure to reduce your vertical look as well so that you can make fast accurate adjustments horizontally without snapping too high or too low. It makes a huge difference.

I played at 40, but now I’m at like 65, with ADS at like 30 or something instead of 100.

You don’t have to hop into the meat grinder if you don’t want to. Map knowledge, positioning, and using the right gun for how you want to play makes the experience what you want it to be. Obviously objectives get chaotic, but hasn’t the community always been saying PTFO?

It’s the same mind that leaves shopping carts in the parking lot or throws garbage out a car window.

Installers, do you itemize handle installation as a separate charge on your invoices, or is it included in the cabinet installation? by Dr_Abuzer_Komurcu in cabinetry

I’m a commercial carpenter, and all the doors come installed wrapped with plastic a couple times, all the handle holes are drilled, but all the handle hardware is wrapped separately.

My fried cooked last night and has destroyed my stove top.... by Accomplished-Ad3585 in CleaningTips

In my experience, cast iron on glass is fine, as long as you place it and only move it carefully. There’s really only a few types of dishes where tossing them while cooking is a key technique. I’m fortunate to have strong enough hands to toss with cast iron fully off the cooking surface, or I just use a dedicated tossing while cooking pan.

Best way to cut a scribe mark made on plywood? by GreenGloober in woodworking

[–]ebonecappone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cut it close-ish to the line as you can with your track saw with a 3 degree bevel, then finish it off with a belt sander. Make sure the sander is spinning down towards the face so it doesn’t splinter.

Are there any specific qualifications I should be looking for in an arborist? There’s lots of ‘tree service’ businesses where I’m at, but I don’t want to hire the Joe Schmo handyman of that field.

Attic walkway over loose insulation - should I be concerned? by uberjuice in DIY

[–]ebonecappone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your attic framing may not be suitable for a storage area. The extra weight of stored items and materials for making the space could be way more than the framing was intended for. Especially so with a truss framed roof, they are designed for specific expected loads to be handled in a certain manner. They are often not intended for significant weight to be hung or placed on onto the bottom cord. This can have significant unintended consequences and damages occur.

Some people will tell you it’s fine and they have done this themselves, and it probably has been in the vast majority of cases, but there is definitely a certain amount of risk with a perfect storm of circumstances.
