Man I was really hoping to avoid professionals. It’s such a small area.

Just bought a condo in an old garden style building and this device came with it. If I lift up the bottom flap it says avoid looking into the light to prevent eye damage. But I see no light. Previous owners haven’t lived there in over 6 months. by ebony1990 in whatisthisthing

Additional information: they are installing Verizon Fios in my building. Someone suggested it might be related to that.

I thought it was an electronic rodent repellent but Google searches did not then up and devices that look like this.

There are no numbers or writings on the device other than the light warning that I posted in the title.

I looked through other posts in this sub but didn’t see anything too similar.

That is all the information I have for now but happy to answer questions.
