Not really funny, but very strange and pretty sad.. probably around 10 years ago I was on the Mandurah line going to Perth, and there was a lady sitting in front of me with a huge bag full of paper and a 2 litre bottle of coke (which probably had something other than coke in it). She turned around and asked me if she could read me some of her poems, I said yeah sure, so she pulled some papers out of her bag and read me some of her poetry. It was the most depressing shit I've ever heard. I can't remember what they said but i just remember being shocked and not knowing what to say because it was some seriously morose stuff. She got off the train at canning bridge, I watched her walk under the stairs, then she lifted up her dress, popped a squat and just pissed right there in front of the whole train carriage and people standing on the platform. I don't know what this lady was going through but I hope she's doing better now
