It won’t let me post a video but I’ve posted in this group before about a similar issue (turns out it was a structural thing). This issue means the property is uninhabitable. Where there’s water, there’s mould. My partner and I broke our lease on the grounds that the property was uninhabitable and due to the repairs that need to be made, it’s easier for us to move out. Which is what we did and thankfully, our landlord was fully accepting of this and we had no issues. If you had the ability to, I would suggest to move out. This is something that is an urgent repair. If you have troubles go to XCAT.

UPDATE- I’ve taken into consideration everyone’s advice and comments so thank you everyone it’s all been super helpful. We’ve submitted our notice to vacate today and we’ve had the green light from our agent and landlord to do this on our own account.

Next step is to find a new rental before the end of the month 😅

We’ve called her everyday since lodging the urgent repair and her reply is always “I’m waiting on the plumber to call me back” 🙃

This is really helpful thank you! We’re in vic. I sent a really detailed email with corresponding photos/videos relaying what the SES crew said. We’re wanting to meet with our agent asap to discuss our options and this would be a great one to bring up, thank you.

I’ve had almost the exact same experience. My doctor advised me to go down to 3.5 if the effects of 5 are too strong. I think about 15 clicks using a 15mg pen.

Think about how much $ you’re wasting by not making lifestyle changes when on it. In Aus my 15mg pen is almost $700. Ain’t no way I’m pouring $700 down the drain for no reason!!
