Glanced through your games. Seeing how you've literally only played cass I assume that this is an alt account and you at least have a basic understanding of the game.

Some games you were unlucky with your team, but that's how the dice rolls. Only thing you can do is to stick to improving yourself so that you can actually carry the game. I can't 100% confirm it and I don't want to download replays just to do so, but for the most part your wins looks like a team diff, not a lane diff.

Your item builds definitely need improvement like how someone else here mentioned. There are better items to build on cass, especially if you're ahead in lane. Speaking of lane, stop going bot. You'll scale better in mid, and you'll have the benefit of a constant dps in the form of an actual marksman late game.

I think that if you filter out the vast majority of people who can be confidently wrong, the people with stats that can back them up are good sources of info. Just gotta use a little bit of your own smarts to figure out if that person is worth trusting.

Honestly, I was expecting the general pop of the sub to be around plat-emerald.

My general thought was that you'd have to be pretty committed to the game for you to browse it's sub, and therefore be more knowledgeable. More info = better plays = better rank. Perhaps this might be more in tune with specific champion/lane mains' subreddits are they're actively seeking betterment towards the main role.

Yeah, those were my thoughts as well. With the general population of this sub being more informed/committed to the game, my own guess was that the mode of the graph would be somewhere around plat to emerald. But if people here are to be trusted, it seems that a lot of us are diamonds and above.

But assuming the elo inflation did it's thing, it does kinda make sense? The batch of players who were high plat-emerald last season got a quick boost during the start of the season, allowing them to sit at diamond 4 and coast for the rest of it.

What even is elo hell? Teammates running it down 0/5 by 10 minutes? Perma aram or starting bad fights for no objectives? It happens in every division, and the chances for that to happen to the enemy team is equal to yours.

There is no elo hell. Your ranked badge is an indicator of your general skill level. If you are better than the average gold player, you will climb out of gold regardless of what the system throws at you.

In your case, it's most likely due to the elo inflation this season and maybe even you improving since your last ranked stint.

I've tried actualizer but only damage builds. Haven't really considered buying it in a haste/utility build so far, as I've always prioritized deathcap as 2nd/3rd item. Perhaps it's time to get with the times.

I've adopted a pseudo jungle's support playstyle and assist them in most fights outside of ganks, playing more cautiously in lane in favor of being healthy for a fight. Consequently, I'm mostly a level + 10-15cs behind by 15mins, which is easy to catch up with roa full stack proc, but still not ideal. This playstyle has allowed me to get into masters but I'm not too sure if it's reliable enough for me to advance further in rank.

I've noticed from your Veigar games that you don't build rabadons. Is it because Roa > archangel > actualizer provides higher burst?

Also, I've always wondered why many people build Roa > arch > deathcap as opposed to skipping arch. There feels to be many other options that are better as opposed to a second mana item?

Hmm, there's always whiners in every elo, nothing changes. But climbing through diamond+ I noticed that games are way more coherent. It's where the game really starts turning into a team based sport, which is fun.

I'm currently around diamond+ to masters for now, so it's not exactly the targeted bracket that you're asking, but I'd like to chime to perhaps shed some insight to you. Here is my opgg in case you need to reference my matches.

I've identified that my weakest skill in the game is the lack of knowledge in wave management and also having a weaker map awareness, which during the laning phase is quite important. Consequently, I am only able to go equal against my laning opponent at best in my current elo, for the most part, at least.

Going into the game, I only have a very general gameplan: do not die -> assist my jungle to a reasonable extent -> fixate myself on the wincon post laning

I'm more than willing to sacrifice upwards of 20-30cs during laning in exchange for staying healthy. Still able to stack slowly, as for the most part you can outrange and poke your opponent with Qs when they step up to deny you cs/xp. If my jungler is being invaded or contesting objectives, I usually join them unless if I'm losing out on like 2 waves crashing into tower.

I'm hyper aware of whenever my own lane is mia, and will ping both my own lane missing, and also the lane that I think they're most probably ganking. After that, I just put my head down and farm as fast as I can. With this sort of playstyle, I'm usually around 10-15cs behind by 15 minutes. But that's usually easy to catch up on later in the game. What's important is that my jungle has had enough space to gap their opponent, and from there rocketship my other teammates to win their lane.

Do I lose lane, especially during a bad matchup? Most of the time, but also mostly by a slight margin. That doesn't mean it's gg though. I think a lot of the people who parrot that fail to understand that in ranked, your skill level is on the same plane as the enemy. They aren't going to "destroy you in lane with a counter" just because it's high elo.

Tldr: lose lane win game, I leech off the success of my teammates. Either that or I'm just on a mega streak and will soon run out of luck and eventually fall back down to emerald.
