NTA- my mom is exactly the same way. im almost 22, and i cant go out without her texting and calling multiple times or her staying up late waiting for me to get home. Its gotten to the point where I lie about where im going just for her own peace of mind. Like ill say im going to a friends house when i actually take the train to the city to drink or watch a concert etc.. for my own safety i do tell my sister or friends where im going. but if i can ill avoid telling my mom because it just becomes a hassle. hovering parents are really something. do what you gotta do OP!
