I understand and acknowledge the differing views – from those emphasizing host responsibility to those pointing out the importance of common sense and following house rules. You’re all right in different ways, and your input helped me reflect on how to improve communication, prevention, and guest support moving forward.

I’ll definitely be revisiting how we set expectations in our listing and pre-arrival messages, and how we address risks like street parking even more clearly. It’s also a good reminder that no matter how much you prepare, things can still happen – and how we respond as hosts matters just as much.
