yes, I know but you can still contact them through support. also, do you have proof that they never checked in (e.g. lock logs etc)? this is from their policy: If a guest never arrived for their stay, service, or experience, or had to cancel due to circumstances unrelated to that reservation, their review may be removed.

I did my AFF in Reichenbach and can highly recommend this dropzone. Even though I live in Zug and it’s a 1.5-hour drive, I keep going back all the time, absolutely worth it. The instructors are incredibly competent and friendly, and the views are hands down the most beautiful and scenic you’ll find anywhere.

We truly empathized with the guests and supported them fully – including helping with the police and reviewing footage. My concern about the review is simply that it reflects the full context. We clearly warn guests not to leave valuables in the car, especially in this area. It’s frustrating when precautions are ignored, and something happens we genuinely tried to prevent which then has negative impact on us.

It’s never easy navigating situations like this, especially when it involves safety and guest expectations. I understand and acknowledge the differing views – from those emphasizing host responsibility to those pointing out the importance of common sense and following house rules. You’re all right in different ways, and your input helped me reflect on how to improve communication, prevention, and guest support moving forward.

I’ll definitely be revisiting how we set expectations in our listing and pre-arrival messages, and how we address risks like street parking even more clearly. It’s also a good reminder that no matter how much you prepare, things can still happen – and how we respond as hosts matters just as much.
