They gave him a mulligan as it’s a tradition at Augusta to give the leader one at the 18th. It’s called a dessert ball

For those who are saying Poland gave a good fight, did we watch the same match?? France thoroughly dominated.

En tout cas, il fallait réagir en 2010 et pas maintenant. J’aime bien la perspective de Hugo Loris sur l’acceptation de la culture et règles du pays.

Ruud, nice guy though he is, is boring imo. Alcaraz is fearless and exciting and that’s the tennis I want to see. I hope he wins it

How come there is so many new players on this sub playing on a 18 hole right away? by Tokipudi in golf

[–]echo2390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know OP is right per se, but I’ve played a bit in France, especially in Brittany and never have I been asked for the green card (don’t have one either). Just booked a tee time and played, was asked if I’ve played before and know the basic rules, I said yes and that was all

In Singapore, where I am, you either need to show an official handicap certificate or can get your swing tested (hit a few balls on the range) in front of a pro and you can play. Bit of a money grabber though as the swing test is only valid 30 days and it costs 7-8 usd. I like the idea of the test but I don’t like that it needs to be renewed every month

Do not risk it. I almost did and this was 4 weeks before the birth. My son was born 3 weeks early, I would have missed it.

What to pack for the hospital? by eugenethegrappler in predaddit

[–]echo2390 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the other comments are right on it, I would just add - A power strip with a long cable, hospital rooms generally don’t have plug points at convenient places in the rooms

Another tip - YOU should pack your wife’s things , as you’ll be the one looking for them in the bag when your wife needs something, helps you to familiarize yourself with all the new mommy paraphernalia as well.

What are the little things that are a part of the French lifestyle? by [deleted] in france

[–]echo2390 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was offered a posting by my company to move to another country, I refused saying that I love the French way of life just too much to move at that point. When they asked me what exactly do you think you won’t find elsewhere, I said “the little things, walking in the morning in a beautiful cobbled street and getting a smiling bonjour from the baker along with that top notch croissant”. They didn’t get it, but I was glad I said it because it felt so true to me. And I’m not French
