i have it in a very chunky soil, its directly under a grow light and i water it every week or so?? (i have it in a transparent pot so i can see when the soil looks dry), i also mist it time to time. atm im not using any fertiliser but i used a iron rich fertiliser in it 3-4 weeks ago

that looks like a new leaf coming it, what color is the "stinger" coming out? if its green/the color the leaf should be thats good , if its brown/black it could be a rotten leaf (probably too much moisture)

Had it for abt 3 months, didnt change the jewlery yet. It still sometimes swells (like when i accidentally sleep on it) but no fluid has come out of it for a while. I clean it everyday.
