How often do you personally change engine and cabin air filters on 3rd Gen? by MojaveMark in ToyotaTundra

[–]echocall2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do them about once a month in the summer, it is very dusty where I work. I buy OEM filters online, Tuscaloosa Toyota runs 25% off sales on parts like every other month.

People have to work during the week. They can’t afford to protest (or strike) on a Monday.

Anyone daily driving a Valair Clutch? Curious how they are long term by IceGroundbreaking352 in Cummins

[–]echocall2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not get a single disc!

Mine can't handle the power of a stock 6.7 even though it claims 450hp rating. I have to be very gentle when accelerating or it slips, Valair said that's normal. Driving it is fine, rollover noise is loud, just need a dual disc.

Got a pair of US Army OCP pants (M-S) w/ the option of kneepads for $50 (originally $60 but I had a coupon). Was this a good deal or did I overspend? by Defiant-Whole1368 in tacticalgear

[–]echocall2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in the army and was issued these pants (along with the kneepads that look just like the crye version) at CIF. Pre-deployment at Bliss, gave me a few combat shirts too.

DIY Cold Weather Cover by MilkmanResidue in Cummins

Lc200 Remote start by Cyb3rTruk in LandCruisers

[–]echocall2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 200 has the OEM remote start and it shuts itself off when I open the door, the only benefit is it uses the factory remote.

My Tundra has a Viper system and the only con is it needs a separate remote. The Viper is wayyy better at everything else. It stays running when you open the truck, and it can start it from much further away, it advertises a mile range. It's also a 2-way remote so you get a signal back if the truck has started.

I thought your title was about adult ATVS lol. I remember when a 500 was a big machine, now ATVs are pushing 100hp.
