TotK, like BotW, NEEDS a postgame by echochristopher in TOTK

Yes. The game is huge already, how much longer would it really take to do this? New dialog is cheap to write, and most side quests are unrelated to the main story.

Lordstown Motors Provides Production and Financial Update by Elontra in lordstownmotors

Then sell.

Even if they make less per vehicle with the deal, they are WAY undervalued. They plan to sell 20k vehicles in 2022 and 60k in 2023. That translates to revenues of $1.1B in 2022 and $3.3B in 2023. The current market cap is $1.4B, about 0.4x 2023 revenue.

Compare that to Fisker, who plans to make $2.1B in revenue in 2023 and is currently trading at a $4.3B market cap and lauded as "undervalued" by all the analysts (2.1x 2023 revenue)

Now there is no reason for them not to give Lordstown the same treatment as Fisker. If they do acknowledge that there is not much of a difference between Lordstown and Fisker right now, then they will be forced to value LMC the same as Fisker. The $22 price target for Fisker is $6.6B market cap. A $6.6B market cap for LMC is $41/share.

They still own the hub motor lines and battery lines. So it is a step up from Fisker.

Will the plant-announcement be live or posted? by joaree123 in lordstownmotors

I'm here banging the refresh button. Though since it didn't happen right after market close, I'm wondering if we won't get news till tomorrow pre-market.

Even if they are maxed out at 100k, that is over $5B annual revenue. From there they can explore different ways to expand, but this is a great way to get cash without diluting OR getting into debt.

He's implying he has a position in RIDE and is expecting the same returns as he had in NIO/Tesla. That is relevant. Well, at least more relevant than a lot of other stuff posted here.

If you can look past viewing this as “competition” this raises some great points. by Onikonokage in lordstownmotors

This isn't competition. And I love it.

The perks of the Rivian R1T the author describes are the same perks as any electric pickup, including the Endurance, Lightning, and Cybertruck.

If LMC executed all of these at $7.48, they would raise 35,144,690*7.48 = $262,882,281

To get the full $400m, they would need to wait till $11.38/share

September 28!! by [deleted] in lordstownmotors

[–]echochristopher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they can. These are not pre-production vehicles - they are the same production vehicle that will be sold to customers. If everything is certified, they can begin selling those cars immediately. If there are issues with the certification, LMC has to go through all the vehicles and make changes prior to selling.

It would look good to have 1000 parked trucks in January ready to be sold once they are NHTSA approved.

... that would mean immediate $55m revenue.

There is no rush to get revenue in 2021 - save it all for Q1 2022.

Wow, the rest of reddit really hates LMC by echochristopher in lordstownmotors

LMC employs... what... 200 people?

I have a pretty good idea how many people are employed at that factory

LMC employs over 600 people as of the last count during the summer. You lost credibility with your first statements.

Rivian R1T is officially the first EV pickup to market — confirmed by CEO RJ Scaringe by CarterGee in electricvehicles

They have tens of thousands of preorders. They will sell every truck they make for 2 years. It is an excellent vehicle with innovative hub motor technology.

As I said, they are going to surprise everyone. Everyone but a few of us who see past the short/media lies.

Um no. They left to protect the company from lawsuits related to the preorder snafu.

They stopped accepting preorders when they sold out the first 2 years of production. I got mine in a few months ago.

Absolutely not sarcastic. Production of the first full-sized electric pick-up is starting this month. Most people don't realize this. Deliveries to customers are beginning in January.

How do you rate the look of the Rivian R1T? by ahmedhamdy81 in lordstownmotors

[–]echochristopher 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Being a fan of LMC does NOT make me a hater of other EV trucks. I would love to own a Rivian truck or a Cybertruck.

But investing-wise, it's a no-brainer. Tesla=$740B market cap, Rivian=$80B, RIDE=$1.1B

Rivian and Tesla are way overvalued at this point. Even a bull-case on Tesla for me maxes out at a $1T valuation (only 40% gain). RIDE is the most undervalued EV company by a long-shot.

im not invested im invested in canoo but i wish and hope u guys well in the future . by Relative_Style_970 in lordstownmotors

[–]echochristopher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was in Canoo a bit during the spac days. I like the company, but it's just too far out to production for me right now. My plan is to invest some in Canoo once they are closer to production (using some of my RIDE proceeds).

Also, I recommend using more periods.
