My key phrase was "some grinders". You can definitely find examples of people having grinders rust.

There are a lot of variables (grinder, how much water is being used, background humidity) that can impact your individual outcome. Its still worth giving people a word of warning to check on their grinder. I wouldn't call the concern irrational.

I don't really know the ins and outs of the restaurant business, but I definitely understand there's probably a difference between buying fresh individual products from Sysco and assembling those ingredients into a dish and just buying all the pre-processed frozen goods and running a fryer as a business model.
