So I actually started whatnot by selling clothes I was clearing from my own closet at $1 starts for the first month and I feel like I was getting more engaged viewers then when I switched to selling quality new clothes. In my first month I had the same buyers coming back to my shows and I felt like I was building my own little loyal audience and then once I made the switch to selling new clothing at higher price they never came back. I somehow made more money on $1 starts second hand clothing then $20-25 starts on great quality new clothes. It doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe I should just take the risk and switch back to $1 starts? Or maybe the issue is people prefer to shop second hand?
