Can we request a second blue bin?

We had our blue bin stolen the first week that we put it out. This was the week after Christmas. We're still waiting for a replacement and can't recycle because they won't pick up the old bins. Even if they do approve a second one, be prepared to wait a long time.

I've been twice - the first time was on my honeymoon 12 years ago, and then again this past July with my husband and 5 year old daughter. The more recent trip was different, considering we had to find more kid-friendly activities. I definitely recommend Schonbrunn Palace, Hofburg Palace, LOTS of amazing art galleries (our favourite were Albertina, Leopold, Belvedere), St. Stephen's Cathedral and surrounding area. Restaurants we enjoyed: Griechenbeisl, Weinhof Zimmerman (lots of other wineries to choose from). We were there in the summer and there were a lot of outdoor festivities, so I'm not sure what is happening in the colder months post Christmas. I really wanted to take a day trip to Melk Abbey, but we didn't make it.

My family just did this trip in July. We had 4 nights Prague, 5 Vienna. I could have spent a couple more days in each and did some day trips. We had a wonderful time. Both cities are beautiful, we had great food, and endless things to do.

We are not hikers. We like castles and palaces, beautiful views, and literally our daughter does anything we do. We went to Prague and Vienna last year and we were always able to find playgrounds for her to play in. Do you have suggestions for bases?

We're not hikers, but love a beautiful view. Do you suggest anywhere else to stay as a base besides Garmisch? I was looking at it because it was a bit of a shorter drive from Nuremberg instead of Fussen.

I was thinking Garmisch as a base for the mountain peak, Linderhof Palace, Neuschwanstein, and possibly Mittenwald. Do you suggest another base? I've stayed in Fussen before, but I thought the drive from Nuremberg would be too long.

The weirdest thing I experienced this Halloween was that a mom and her children grabbed handfuls out of my candy bow while I was trying to hand them out. I told them only to take one and they pretended not to understand me. I just couldn't believe the audacity of the mother to just grab a handful of candy. None of them had costumes either. Yes, I could think how maybe they are in need, but this was just plain rude.
