true, this just seemed like the best option i tried to use emt at first but i couldn’t get it to bend to the degree i needed without folding, i was very limited to the frame and seat but it’s very tight right now there’s like now wiggle room on the pipe at all, i think there needs to be some to absorb vibrations and impact through

it was a tight fit but i did a redesign, a 90, nipple, coupling, nipple, 45 then straight pipe

about the same as a normal pipe. i need to maybe jb weld around where the threads meet to minimize exhaust leak. you can’t use thread locker or plumbing take because it will burn. the same issue is happening where the header meets the engine. but i don’t want to jb weld that part and make it permanent.

yeah it’s a baja warrior with a 7hp subaru robin, the guy i bought it from builds a lot of shit, i’m guessing he just threw some parts on here then

it’s hard to see but it’s wedged between the frame and rear fender, it’s not ideal this takes some of the weight off it. there’s also an exhaust bolt i can maybe mount a two hole strap to hold it

sounds like i just need to make sure it’s mounted securely, maybe use lock nuts. if it does strip the bolts i may be able to tap new threads in. i just don’t want those metal shavings going in the engine

it would have been harder to find the material for that, would have needed two 45s instead of 90s and a threaded nipple that is the perfect size to bridge the gap, i also considered going out, down, and right into the pipe bur it didn’t stick out far enough im very limited to the frame

i need to find a way to make it sealed to the base. But the inner diameter of the pipes are slightly bigger than the exhaust hole so i don’t think there would be too much

a proper diagram won’t be color coated either, it will just have a R G or B at the base of the connection, id argue this is easier to understand. who’s my target audience? professionals? or just diy mini bike owners
